    Arm and back exercises.

I have a weak upper body! Not only that, but I have always carried my weight on my upper body...do my tummy, back and arms. I'm after some light weight exercises and similar that I can do at home to tone up and strengthen my upper body, particularly my arms and back. I'm pregnant, so nothing too strenuous Any suggestions for what I should be doing?

Grab some cans of beans and do some curls! Also can you google arm, upper body exercises and use DD for any of them??

Do you have a fit ball? They are great to do tummy and back strengthening exercises as well as being very gentle on the body.

For triceps - try tricep dips. Google them on the internet. best thing is no equip needed as it just uses your own body weight.

Use your DD for some lifting exercises as well. Up and down in the air but keep your knees bent so you dont strain your back.

Ong using DD as a weight is the cutest/cleverest idea And yes, I love my fit ball! Thanks guys. Off to google and work out what's what (I'm not an exerciser generally, so I've no idea what curls are lol!)

I lay on my back and hold DS above me and raise an lower him. He squeals in laughter and it works my arms out. It also helps you get past the burn stage as they love it so much.

Start with a great posture. Stand up straight, pull your stomach in then lift your shoulders, roll them back and drop them down - repeat when ever you notice yourself slouching.
You can't just work your back you need to balance it by working your front as well - chest and core.
Look on youtube for excercise videos and tips. Try searching core and back workouts and arm workouts. There is a core exercise for boxers video that is awesome. You won't be able to do the whole thing but if you keep trying you will eventually.

    Push-ups
    Tri-cep dips
    Mountain climbers
    Planks
Pull-ups (start by swinging your way across the monkey bars at the playground then do a pull-up - playgounds are great to use as exercise equipment )
I don't know what they are called but you lie on your stomach and lift your arms and your legs (alternately then together)
