My no egg box says , for 1 whole egg, add 1 tsp of no egg to two tablespoons water. To replace 3 egg whites, add 2 tsp of no egg with 1 tablespoon water.
If using dry, 1 heaped teaspoon of no egg is equal to 3.0 g.

You can use chia seed gel as an egg replacer in some recipes

I have a recipe with no egg and I want to use egg. just because we can actually eat egg.

eta - so if I'm switching to egg, then I have to reduce the amount of fluid, too. bum. that's too complicated.

Use corn flour instead of no egg.

Really. All the time? And add water the same??

Dd3 has an egg issue 'haven't been diagnosed allergy or intolerance yet'

    We have 8 chooks....

Anyway need to use no egg heaps.

Not all the time. In that recipe you could.

I prefer to use psyllium husk most of the time. Better binding, more fibre. Chia gel is good, but I don't like the black flecks in my cupcakes.

woah. how do you know the recipe?

i wanted to take a picture but DH took the camera this morning. it smelt horrid, looked like a massive dog turd, but tasted ok with plenty of cashew paste. the kids did not want to eat it. I think they're going to starve over the next 2 weeks.
