At what age did your baby's eye colour change?

I'm hoping dd gets my blue eyes, so just wondering when is a safe time to celebrate they haven't gone brown lol!

Most people say around 12 mths, my DD and DS both changed from their birth colour and didn't get to the colour they are now at 3 and 5 until they were around 2. DS has blue eyes which we weren't sure would stay seeing as DH and I have brown and hazel eyes! but they did change to a dark grey/blue!

My DS had grey eyes until he turned 2, then over a couple of weeks they turned green.
DD1 has had the same dark blue eyes since the day she was born.
DD2 was born with bright blue eyes, which have now gone grey. I am hoping she will end up green like DS

DD was born with bright blue and have stayed blue all along.

DS was born with dark blue/grey eyes, by about 3 months I think I could see a brown ring around his pupil and now at 8 months they're completely brown and have been since about 6 months or so.

3 of mine were all born with brown eyes, but DD1 was blue eyed until she was between 9-12 months old and they changed to hazel.

Many babies are born with a slate blue/grey colour but they can definitely change a bit. My daughter inherited my blue eyes, my son greeny brown, more like his dads. But they were both the same colour at birth! Can't remember when they changed.

My DD was born blue but they have eventually over the years changed to greeny/brown (not hazel though, ITMS?) Started changing at about 1 yo and I think they will now stay that colour

Mine were all blue til 8 - 12 months. DD1's (10) are alot lighter than the littler ones though, so I wonder if they're going to lighten up like hers, or stay dark brown.

All mine were born dark blue and have stayed blue - although considering both of us and probably 80% of the families on both sides have blue eyes we expected them to be blue Although all 3 have varying shades of blue, which matches that all 3 also have varying shades of red hair

I was hoping DD would inherit DH's blue eyes she was born with dark blue/grey eyes, they changed to green, to hazel and are now brown at 2 years, think probably from about 18 months they were really starting to get the "real" brown colour.

Generally by 2.5 years they will have changed to what they will be. I have seen kids eyes change later though.

All my kids were born with blue. No-one in our families has blue except for DH's sister.

DD1's electric blue eyes have stayed that way. DD2 got indigo and they're just getting more intense.
DS's greyish eyes got paler until her was 3 earlier this year. Now they have started to go the same green as mine (Yay!!) Everyone told me that since they hadn't changed by three they wouldn't....I'm so grateful they are.

There are people that say 6 weeks, 6months, 1year etc. It's just a waiting game really.
