Chrispe DD sleeps for at least 3 hours most nights so I've been lucky to get blocks of sleep. Now that she has gained weight and I don't have to wake her to feed anymore hopefully I can get her sleeping for a few more hours

Hi to everyone else who may be reading

Hi Terry, that's great that your little girl is sleeping well!

DS3 was cluster feeding most nights since we came home. Then he started feeding every 3hrs (feeding for an hr then sleeping 2hrs) so 3-4 hrs sleep was a surprise!

Can you ladies send me some good sleeping vibes!

DD has been sleeping well during the day but bad at night.

She is very hard to settle and wants to cluster feed but my left boob is out of order atm due to blood clot in nipple.

    Yawn

was going to write a bit in here as well, but just heard DS start to stir. He had a late nap, which was good from the cooking tea point of view, but I'm not looking forward to trying to put him to bed tonight

So glad that all you ladies whose bubs arrived in August have decided to hang around with us I'd have missed you.

Hello ladies. I have finally had a chance to check in.

    How is everyone going?

All good here. Amelia seems to have her days and nights around the right way now. She is awake a fair bit of the day but grizzles a lot. She seems to be in pain. It's horrible to see.

DDB, we're getting quite a bit of grizzling/in pain faces, etc, from Thor, too. Apparently the lactose levels in BM sometimes increase too fast for their systems to develop enough to cope with it, so they get a bit of temporary lactose intolerance as it sits there in their bellies and ferments a bit. We find that keeping him upright helps, and sleeping him on his belly on DPs chest - only ever while DP is awake - means he at least gets a good long sleep once during the day.

Oh Pholi you might be onto somethng.
DD has been so hard to settle and only likes to be held or sleeping on DH's chest we thought she was crsvng for human warmth.

I have been cutting out milk to see if thsts the causs.

example, yesterdau she would not sleep from 5.30am to about 1pm.

Everytime we tried putting her down after she closes her eyes she would sleep for like 5 mins then wake up crying again.

Was pretty bad dh gave her a dummy This evening.

It seemed to have settled her slightly.

i saw in chemist last week this stuff you add to milk for lactose intolerance it was with the baby stuff so i assume it could be added to formula or expressed breast milk i will have better look when go town next time, and may give go myself as Amelia gets bad wind pains at times. She is mixed fed breast and formula (mostly breast) and she drinks a lot more than 60-80ml per feed lol. She averaging 120ml per feed about every 2 hours. I do wonder if this because she was big when born. And oh my do her fluffs stink. Pwoar.
