Hello ladies, thought I'd post so this thread isn't so dead hehe! Happy 3 weeks B, and happy 2 weeks H and Z! I actually often wonder whether H was meant to be born on the 10/10 (we kind of sped up the whole process...) but then I think, maybe not I probably wouldn't have lasted another 24hrs!

Anyway hope everyone is well, or at least coping ok with the feeds and lack of sleep xx

Morning FL! Go you good thing!!

Not a terrible night here. I really think I need to go to bed earlier...

B still asleep right now and I managed to get him back into the cradle by about 4.30am so that's not bad.

I need to jump in the shower before they all wake up...

Happy 4 and 3 weeks B, Z and H! I wonder how long I'll be counting weeks for lol. Hope everyone is holding up ok today, seems like a lot of us had a tough night.

Apart from the slow feeds (which involves a lot of chuck up!), things have been ok here. Can't say I'm used to the night wakings and sleep deprivation, but at least it's not freezing at night lately which helps. We are chewing through nappies though, it's ridiculous! Looking forward somewhat to starting the mcns, I feel bad for all the waste we're producing!

4 weeks already! Gone so quick.

We are chewing through nappies at a crazy rate too! But we're in cloth so that's sort of ok. So much washing!

Cattle how are you going without DH around?

Yeah time flies - a month ago we were still all hoping our babies would come soon hehe! And I find it surreal to think, a year ago we didn't have dd, and now... here we all are!

OP - Has ds1 started toilet training? You're washing nappies for two, I guess that would be a lot of nappies! How many newborn nappies do you have? I took out my osfa yesterday and think I could probably use them soon if I button them up to the smallest. We'll see how we go I still need to buy some liners. Hmm also do you think I could just wash them with regular clothes if I maybe rinse them before? I don't have enough at the moment to really justify washing them alone!

Life without dh is ok, I try to work him to the bone from the moment he comes home to the moment he sleeps though hehe! Unfortunately for him bubs has been most unsettled around 8-10pm, which is exactly when he would be watching her while I try shower etc. My mum has been coming around everyday too, there isn't too much she can do but it's still nice to have a bit of company. Thanks for asking

How are you doing looking after two older ones with the new bubs too? Have your in laws been taking them a bit more? Have you found it harder to manage compared to when the other two were newborn?

Re: Babies born ~ October 2012#1

Oh no I didn't get any updates! Blah I am operating in a haze of tiredness at the moment. I am pretty sure I got the most sleep last night since Z arrived but I feel worse!
Cattie, I do the same thing. DH has a list of things to do when he walks in the door lol!

Time for my weekly post - we're gonna be bumped off the sticky and hard to find soon! Wow four weeks has past, I can't believe I haven't had a full nights sleep in four weeks lol.

We're generally doing alright I think. Main problems are pee leaks at night (trying to resolve this by putting a cloth shell over the disposable) and a lot of chuck!

Hope everyone else and their bubs are doing well

What brand of disposables are you using Cattie? Are you checking to see that the edges of the nappy around the elasticized part that goes round her legs is not tucked inside the nappy? Let me know if I'm not making sense and I can upload a pic.
