    they are totally awesome

In also love all her facial expresssions...she has this puckered lip one when she is busy thinking...cracks me up lol!

Have to say that she is one noisy little bubba. DH and i have nicknamed her "pip and squeak" as she is always making these little squeaks...thankfully i am fast learning to sleep through them all!

    How is everyone else transitioning?

Yay!! I wasn't looking forward to joining the Sept group (though I'm sure they're all great) but its just not the same..

Cass I hear you on the noises! I still haven't managed to sleep through them..

DD had her 2 month vaccinations yesterday. Seems to be ok.. She was also weighed and is 2.64 now

i still cannot get my head around that your dd is up to her 2 month vaccs lol! i had always assumed that they would be age adjusted...ahhh my ignorance knows no bounds lol. she is creeping up to my DD1s birth weight! your DS was a wee bub too wasnt he?

i think that the only reason i am sleeping through alot of it is due to us co-sleeping and my boob always within millimeters of her

the only thing that really gets her cross are her bowel movements hahaha! she is so not impressed with that whole process poor poppet.

    Hi ladies,

Sorry I haven't been around much. I've been following on my phone but haven't had the chance to get on the PC.

Miss K has been fairly unsettled the last few days and I've been suffering from severe sleep deprivation. Luckily DH has been around b/c otherwise I don't know how I'd cope. Mind you, he's back at work tomorrow.

Feel for Miss R but she is doing fairly well adjusting to having Miss K around and sometimes having to wait for DH or I to help her/get her lunch etc....

I've tried co-sleeping but I get less sleep I think b/c I am nervous about Miss K ending up under the covers plus she doesn't feed well b/c I am using nipple shields still. We are trying to wean off them but Miss K is a little miffed without them!

So glad to hear your girls are going well.

    x

oh man. we had two very unsettled nights...i am floored Seriously, you'd think that 3 kids in with the second kid only being 2 that i would of remembered the zombie stage hahaha! ahhh how we are eager to forget! thankfully we had a sunny day today and friends invited us to a local music festival with hat making competition for the kids lol. i think i needed the sunshine to keep my spirits up. i hope that we have a less fraught night tonight...she really hates pooping

    Hi everyone!

This little girl seems pretty unsettled. Unless there is boob in her mouth. Then she's ok. Hard on her big sissah though.

Got home this morning, had a big cooked brekkie, then snuggled into bed with my girl. I'm recovering really well, feeling great. Going to start sewing frills and ruffles at the first opportunity.

Oh Audax that is just wonderful!!!!

mmmm cooked brekkie mmmmm! seems your girl and my girl have been talking to eachother and Miss E is also unsettled unless there is a boob involved lol.

thankfully she gave us a more normal night last night...she musta known that mama was going a bit crazy lol.

DD2 also finds it hard that DD3 is always on the boob too. she demands cuddles that just cannot always happen can be a bit hard at times but i am trying to find extra time to read a story or pass DD3 to DH so that DD2 can sit on my lap (like right now lol).

We have Miss Es 2 week check tomorrow...see how all this milk is making her grow! then we have the MACH nurse visiting on Thursday...i hope she is nice...i always seem to get either the disinterested ones or the ones that assume i am an ignorant risk-taking mama (because if you have a baby at home it's all about you, not the baby...). she sounded nice on the phone though

Hiya ladies, seems like all our girls are unsettled at the moment, hope it starts picking up for us all. And the adjustments with our other children I am hearing too. Welcome audax, so wonderful to hear of Sadie's arrival.

We had rough day on Saturday screaming for most of the day, we had visitors too, but I'm sure if I had of laid in bed for whole day with the bb's in her mouth she would have been happy . Ds1 is feeling it more than ds2 but think its cause he got sick last weekend, ds2 just wants to kiss her and help change nappies, and empty the dishwasher pmsl, that I can handle.

All night, boob in mouth. She has an incredible suck! Her first feed was 90 minutes, so I guess it takes a lot of boobie juice to sustain her massive body. She's quite clearly got day and night mixed up, but we'll sort her out.

Had her first bath this morning. Did that thing where you run the tap over their head and she loved it.

Klee: oh man, my DD2 is *totally* obsessed about the dishwasher too lol! if only we could sustain the love affair for the next 17 years lol.

Audax: how much did DD2 weigh?? I think i missed it? I blame baby brain
Her first bath sounds gorgeous! i saw that beautiful first bath clip on youtube (was it posted here on BB at some point??) where they did that tap thing and it was just so so peaceful.

Thanks goodness it's not only me with the unsettled bubs. I ended up on the mattress on the floor early this morning with Miss K as she wouldn't settle in her craddle. (DH is a heavy sleeper so no co-sleeping in our bed) She's been on the boob for most of the day & I am now thinking is it reflux or something I am eating??? Gosh I hope tonight is a better night
