    Stopovers and luggage.

I feel really dumb. I can't believe that someone who has traveled as much as me has to ask this question.......

We have an overnight stopover on our way to Japan. Will our luggage be sent through like it does normally or do we have to collect it for the night and give it back the next morning?

I'm really struggling to remember previous stopovers but my mind is blank.

And now that I have an answer my mind blank vanishes and I remember frantically trying to use a hair dryer to dry my only piece of clean clothing after DS1 shat on it in a hotel room during my last overnight stopover.
No wonder I repressed that memory. What a ****ing nightmare.

    Re: Stopovers and luggage.

Do you leave the airport? Normally if you leave airport then you will have to collect your luggage and check back in. If you dont leave airport (if hotel is airside) then you don't. That is way has always been for me.

    Stopovers and luggage.

You will need to tell them you want it checked all the way through otherwise it won't be.
