So after an awful horrible painful 40hr labour I swore I'd never do it again, I wasn't planning on doing this in the first place, he was a beautiful little accident. Here I am, 5 months later and, I really really want another baby I know it's mental. Especially considering we aren't in the best financial position with me only working part time and my partner studying. But everyone else is having these beautiful little newborns and I just want another! My partner would kill me if he knew, we agreed to wait about 2 years in between children. So right now I'm watching birth shows and stuff trying to make myself remember how hard birth is and the first few weeks of their life but it's not working haha. Help, or at least let me know I'm not the only one!

Not insane, I don't know how anyone couldn't love little ones, a little crazy? Maybe haha. My advice, wait until this one is walking and getting in to things and see how you feel, chasing after a very active little one and being heavily pregnant sounds like the least fun thing in the world to me haha
Our children are 4 (we have 1 each) and we've only just started trying in the past few months, we are both very happy with the age gap, not that we really had/have a choice.
Given your little one is only 5 months you haven't had much of a chance to do the "play and learn" stuff yet and if like me, are a little bored? Watching those shows will only make you want it more!
Do you have friends with toddlers? If so try and catch up with them, it might just change your mind for the moment ;-)
Try to enjoy the peace before the mayhem begins :-)
