    Holiday payments?

Usually if there are public holidays over my payment processing days, I'll be paid before the holiday comes up. My payments are usually processed on a Wednesday, to be paid on a Friday.

This Wednesday & Thursday being Christmas & boxing days, then next week having New Years I assumed I'd be paid a little earlier, but it says nothing online? Still says my payments will be paid on the 27th & 3rd. Just wanted to check this is right?

Weather or not we join everyone on a boxing day camping trip depends on when I get paid next & can apply for an advance...

Not sure if this helps you, but this is on my CL page: "If you receive your payments automatically and are not required to submit a report, your next payment date may be displaying incorrectly. We would like to assure you that this is a display issue only and will not impact your revised holiday arrangement payment date. Read more..>"

Friday isn't a public holiday no need to pay it early. It will be processed early but won't necessarily go into your account early

    Re: Holiday payments?

Oh ok. I think I've had payments paid early for a Wednesday public holiday before, but that might be a bank thing. I know CBA process on Saturdays, so will see what happens.

    Re: Holiday payments?

Depends on double processing days. Every public holiday works differently. But basically those due to be paid on Wednesday and thurs will have their payments early from necessity. And perhaps Tuesdays might be paid early too. But payments can still be made on Friday (they will be sent to the bank tomorrow). If CBA decide to do an early pay strip you may get access to it Tuesday night. Maybe.

    Re: Holiday payments?

Ok. So even though they're being processed early, I still can't apply for my advance til after Wednesday can I? So there'll be no money in my account til at least Friday, adcance not til after.
Was hoping I could apply for the advance early if it was paid/processed early.

Oh well. We'll just have to miss out, or go down late.

    Cheers

    Re: Holiday payments?

Once your payment has been processed you can apply for advance. So of it is processed today you. An apply tomorrow. Bit it will take two working days to get to you. So not til Monday

    Re: Holiday payments?

I have a holiday related question. I would usually be due to report next monday but have received a notice to report tomorrow, it would still be for the period up till next monday. But we won't know the income for that period till next monday anyway because it changes week to week. What happens if we don't report till next monday? If it is just a possibly late payment that is fine, I just don't want to get in trouble but wouldn't know what figure to report if we had to do it early...

    Re: Holiday payments?

All it will do if you report next Monday is delay your payment for next week. If you normally report Monday for a Wednesday parenting payment it would be delayed until Thursday

    Re: Holiday payments?

    Ok, me again

I went online to apply for the advance this morning... I have my one off advance payment listed, then under is 'Advance 1', no 'Advance 2'.

So only have 2 listed out of 3 I usually am entitled too. It's said all along that I could apply for 'Advance 2' on December 25. But when I click on 'Apply' it tells me I have no advances available to me at this time... But if my payment went through on Monday (received yesterday, so processed Monday), it should really have been cleared to go through before yesterday anyway, so public holidays shouldn't be holding it off? Or maybe they are? Maybe if I wait til tomorrow it'll be listed & I'll be able to apply?

Anyone have an idea of why?

    Re: Holiday payments?

It is likely due to the public holidays. Of your payments have changed at all since you last applied, you may not be eligible for enough to apply for advance

    Re: Holiday payments?

Our combined income was around 44k last year - the amount is huge, am guessing it's correct? It was ftb a and b and supplements for both plus clean energy something or other.
