I love to bake savoury foods... quiches, muffins. And sweet treats like pancakes etc...but recently have been told to go off dairy for as long as I'm breastfeeding. And soy I went off both for 4 days & when I snuck some soy milk in something, Jovie came out in a big rash... sooo
Please post some dairy free recipe alternatives for quiche, muffins, pancakes....
I have been giving Matilda crackers with cheese, cut up vege fingers etc... but I used to make either vege muffins or mini quiches every weekend for the week's snacks and some meals. Now I'm out of what I can prepare early for a healthy snack/lunch.

Ingredients 1 mug of organic self raising flour 1 mug of fortified Rice Milk or apple sweetened soya milk or Quinoa milk 1 dessertspoon of arrowroot 1 dessertspoon coconut oil 1 tablespoon of fructose 1 lime. 1 Lemon Agarve syrup for drizzling 1 Punnet of strawberries, frozen blueberries or raspberries Method 1) Blend together flour, arrowroot and milk with 3 teaspoons of Lemon juice. 2) In a very hot non stick frying pan put a dribble of coconut oil and enough mix to barely cover the bottom of the pan. Swirl the mix around in the pan to get an even thickness. 3) Wait for bubbles to rise and the mix to start to set. Then toss (or flip) and cook the other side. To Serve Serve with squeeze of lime, a drizzle of agarve syrup, your favourite berries and sprinkle of fructose sugar.
Yep the whole house has been on A2 from the start of December, and soy milk makes her break out when I have a little bit in coffee.... so rice milk is the go... (yuk!) I haven't tried goats milk yet... bit scared too. Basically its a cows milk thing, or so they think and we are having a go.
