    Epidural site giving me grief

I had an epidural with DS and lately where i had it in ive been feeling a stingy sort of pain. But DS is 19.5 months old. Why would it start now?

Geez, that's great comfort lol. Never having one again now! I've all sorts of problems regarding nerve damage with it in my leg.

it seems unfortunately a few people have problems with epidurals after.

It might pay to go get it checked though especially if you have had other problems.

your quite right Alan, when i had my epidural for my first, I was not told about any possible problems and being naive i had no idea. nearly 10 yrs later and i still pay for it. I said def no epidural for my DS and again i will say no. My thing is i get this discomfort every month and at the time it didnt work as my labour progressed to fast so it was all for nothing.

Yeah i actually asked if there were any long lasting side effects and i was told no! I get really bad sciatica and my right leg goes numb and tingly on and off all the time since i had it.

    Hey,

The actual epidural site doesn't bother me anymore. However i still get bad sciatica in my right leg and it goes numb and sometimes quite painful on and off every few months. DS will be 3 in 2.5 months. I can't believe im still having troubles with it. I'm so glad i didn't need one for #3.

I had one 15 years ago and every now and then it gives me grief. Awful things they are.... I will never, ever have one again if I can help it.
