    Blocked tubes after m/c?

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has ever found out their tubes was blocked after a m/c?

I had a m/c in Nov 2007 after the 2nd cycle of ttc and didn't need a D&C as the Dr said my body had done a good job of 'cleaning' itself out. Been TTC ever since with no luck and have just found out from our FS that one of my tubes may be blocked with mucus from the m/c.

I am booked in for a op on the 10th of Feb to flush my tubes and check everything else is ok.

Had this happened to anyone else?

Everything else is in working order (me & DH) so hoping for some answers.

    Thanks

    Hi Pandagirl,

So sorry for you loss, anytime is devastating to lose your angel but Christmas Day must have been especially hard.

I'd never heard of it before either and in 12 months my GP had never mentioned it as a possibility. Our normal FS was away so we saw a locum this time (semi-retired with many years experience).

It has given us some hope but trying not to get too hopeful in case they don't find anything (iykwim).

Will let you know how I go. I will be spreading the word if it is the case as I would hate for anyone else to go through months of heartache when there may be a solution.

Fingers crossed I can get some answers and pass them on!
