Talking Those moments you cherish.... :)

I just went to check on DP and see if he was able to get Mia to sleep and they have both flaked it on the bed.. arms and legs everywhere. Put a big smile on my face. These sorts of moments are the ones we shoul cherish i think... takes all the hard work and puts it in a different perspective.

Anyone got any cherishable moments they want to share?? one that will stay in your mind and make you smile when you are crying sort of stuff???

Awwww that is gorgeous! My mind is filled with so many beautiful moments with the girls.....most recent would be Jasmine our youngest climbing into our bed and laying on Corey, fast asleep. Thats how I found them when I woke up and looked over! She just adores her Daddy!

DS sitting up in bed last night (still asleep), moving to leaning against DH then lying next to him and stroking his shoulder. Or finding them cuddled up face to face and sound asleep. So cute I love co-sleeping.

Waking up to the feel of two little hands on the sides of my face, and opening my eyes to see a little face all puckered up coming in for the kiss.

Kids are so genuine aren't they? My favourite moments are when DS leans is to give me a big cuddle just because he feels like it. And when he discovers something new and has that look of pure joy on his face.

A fairly regular one here is my little one will come up behind me if i am sitting on the couch and give me the biggest cuddles around my neck followed by smoochy kisses!

Oh and the other morning i woke up late (girls were up and had not woken me) and i could hear my 3yo asking her lil sis (21mths) to stay still while she changes her bub (in those words) and when i came out I found that the 3yo had dressed herself and had clothes out for her sis and was in the process of getting her dressed! I was so proud of her!

I love hearing Molly playing in her cot in the morning when she has just woken up. Then when I walk up she has the biggest smile on her face for me.

My other moment I love is when DH pokes his tongue out at Molly and she cackles at him

i love seeing DH & Jack looking at each other and Jack either smiling or having a 'talk' with dad...
    or
Jack waking up giving the BIGGEST smile...then laying there talking away..happily...

I have a photo of DP & DD(2yrs old at the time) ... both laying on their fronts next to each other sprawled out on the bed with bottoms up fast asleep on a Sunday arvo ... It was a true Father like Daughter moment ... and i just had to take a photo

I have 2 just recent ones.
DS had his orientation day last Tuesday for preschool. I was watching from a far when a little boy came up to him and tried to take a crayon off him. He said here you go, gave him the crayon and grabbed a piece of paper and gave it to the little boy and said heres some paper, you draw mummy and daddy. I just thought how sweet that was and was so proud of him.

Then he started preschool last thursday. Im told he had a great day. When i got there he saw me and said mummy mummy, all excited and then held my hand and gave me a big hug. He then said bye preschool and blew kisses. Its just the little things like that that make you so proud and feel so lucky.
