I'm getting the same thing honey and have been since about 36 weeks.....
Don't know why it's happening but your not alone xoxoxox
lol, ok TMI people, I'm sorry.
Why do I now have to go to the loo (for no 2's) like 5 times a day!!!! I'm a 1 time a day person. But this has been happening over the last couple of days. Sometimes it's when I get these period type cramps and it makes me feel like I need to go. I can't figure out which way around it is though, do the cramps make me need to go, or am I feeling a bit sick and that causes the cramps??
So, is this normal?? Is it a pregnancy thing or am I getting sick?? Really don't want to have a diarrheoa (sp?) problem in labour!! omg, how embarrassing. I've heard this can happen close to labour and your body is kinda cleaning out. But I'm still a couple of weeks away!!
Well, sorry for sharing my bowel habits with you alllol

Hun, I get cramps when I need to do a BM all the time normally!
Stop stressing, it is normal for your body to do a clean out before baby comes, especially as he/she descends further into your pelvis.
It is great to keep as regular as possible in these last few weeks, because after birth it hurts!!
In hospital, eat kiwi fruit with the skin on. Something in the skin is really good for it and I know people who have said it works better than fibregel (or whatever it's called)
sounds like prelabour signs to me. I had this for 2-3 weeks before both my girls came (after being constipated for sometime lol).
Good luck
I'd say its normal for your stage of pregnancy... your body is getting ready for birth![]()
I remember the same thing happening to me last time too... But I thought it was due to all the stone fruit I was eating, LOL! But it sounds like it is totally normal, even with a couple of weeks to go.
(Hey - only a couple of weeks!!!)
Wow good on you!!! Do you feel all clean and energised? (As energised as you possibly can...)
I'm usually a once a fortnight person so I say enjoy it while it is possible LOL.
I'm experiencing the same kind of thing...
cept no. 2's might skip a day every so often
I find that i'm going to do no.1's a lot more frequently too!
Best of luck, not long to go now
Thanks guys!! Good to know I'm normal, lol. Was worried I was getting sick or something and that would not be good right now!! DH is sick at the moment so I'm already trying to avoid catching that!!
Hey SJ
I would say totally normal. Same thing is happening to me, just keep hydrated by drinking heaps of water. The uterus and bowel sit close together I think so either organ can irritate the other and cause loose BM's. Hmmmm, I think that's how it works!!!
