it rained all day and so so glad we got the scout's hall.
i think all the kids had fun too. we had bought a jumping castle one ebay, new one cheap.. so the kids loved it, even the little ones. it was a rush cos we didnt manage to get all the food yesterday cos we only gt the hall at 6pm, so we were running around getting stuff the barbie. we didnt get any yest just in case we had to cancel.
anyway, lakshman was spoilt rotten, he got lots of pressies, hugs and cuddles. and he loved his cake, and trying to grab it. but when we gave him a piece he spat it out! lol

anyway, i'm going to bed soon. so so tired..
(cos he woke up at 3am teething and fever)

thansk again everyone for the wishes!

Sonya, Your nuts, and I think that you are wonderful for it. I think we are going to get the operation done on him. I dont think my friends would allow it. It wouldnt supprise me they would donate money for the op. He is 12 years old, but I couldnt handle to see him suffer. Your not a CDL, coz if you are, I am too.

Prama. Great to hear the party was a hit. I hope the tummy bug gave you a break. My kids have a cold now. Ahhh.

Jen, I cant wait to see her photo's. I hope she had a wonderful day

Bun, I hope you had a wonderful 30th. I call it "Dirty 30" I dunno why, it just sounds good.

Esme, Rain, what is that? Isnt it wet stuff that is ment to fall from the sky????

Sue, I would love to see your cake when it's done.

Zuey is a little better, but Im not looking forward to organizing the op. Im scaired that he may not come out his sleep.

    Hi all!

Hope everyone had a happy valentines day and/or birthday party!

We had a very nice day. The weather was perfect: dry, mostly overcast, 27 degrees. We put all the tables out in the backyard under a big tree and had a really good time. Jasper loved it. He had only 1 hour sleep in the morning and then didn't go to bed until his normal bedtime at 7.15 and didn't whinge once! He got spoilt with lots of presents and cards (Thanks Baxter and Sophie for the lovely cards!!).
I did manage to make the cake into a bear and everyone loved it. I will try to put some foto's up on the foto page if I can figure out how it works... Otherwise I will put them one by one in my signature!

    Hi ladies,

Esme- The cake looks great! Good job on the teddy.

Karlie- Give Zuey a big pat from us. Your little ones seem to be unlucky with colds. I remember Jake got a cold at around a week old? Hopefully it is only a little one and they dont get so clingy. Oh and for my fave farmer... Hmmm at the start I liked Ralph but changed my mind after he chose all the blonde models types... Maybe the farmer from TAS or the Adelaide one?

Sonya- LOL I would have bought the flowers! How is master Zane going today?

Prama- Sounds like the party went well. I bet you and Steve were exhausted after it. We need some pics now!

Bun- Oh we have needles tomorrow. I hope Amber doesnt get too feral afterwards. It wouldnt be a nice mix with the teething. How is your DH going with being a parent these days? I'm sure he has stepped up to the plate. It must have been great to have had your parents there.

    Hello everyone else!

We had Ambers grandparents and an aunt and uncle come today and we went for lunch for Ambers birthday. Was a long day and Amber was exhausted. But she was the star of the show and kept everyone enthralled. I have put pics in facebook or for you girls without facebook, the link is in my signature. The cupcakes were ok and the number 1 cake went ok too.
Amber, I reckon will get a few teeth in the next week or so. Her gums are so bumpy with a couple really ready to cut the skin. We have needles tomorrow. So hopefully all goes well.

    Have a lovely evening ladies.

esme -ooh teddy's sso so yumm! pity to cut it, huh..

jj - sounds like amber had a fantastic time..
good luck w the needles, it's hard when they give them 3. the nurses here used to give 2 needles at the same time at each thigh. dunno how they will do 3.

oh i forgot to say - both poopy's grandmother's gave him the same present!! not the same brand but the same concept toy. how funny!

    my facebook link http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref...67&ref=profile

Jen - Love the cupcakes!!! Must have been a big job; a different animal for each cupcake! The big cake is nice too. Hope all goes well with the needles tomorrow. I will have to book in for Jasper's needles tomorrow....

Prama - Good to hear you managed to get the scout hall! Glad you had a good time. Was thinking of you during the day, but didn't get a chance to log on. How did your cake turn out? I don't have a facebook profile, so can't see . Might set one up tomorrow, now I've got some time again. I didn't like cutting the teddy, dp's niece said: 'look, he is bleeding!' (raspberry filling). Lol, might have to come up with a less gruesome design next year!

Sonya - Thanks! Did you buy yourself a bunch of flowers? It always makes me feel better if I have plants/flowers in the house.

    Hi to everyone else!

esme - wow, what a fab job you did on the cake! And I LOVE the new pic of Jasper you have up - what a cutie pie, I just want to eat him up! Sounds like he had a great time at his party.

jen - good luck with the needles! I hope Amber handles them ok. Catherine was fine after a few minutes of screaming. DH has been great lately - he is really good with DD, I think he finds it easier now that she is older. Plus she just adores her daddy - she would take him over me any day! Of course that often makes me pretty sad when I get to clean all the dirty nappies, do all the night duty, etc, but I guess that's all part of being a mum; my mum tells me my sister and I used to do the same thing! Your cupcakes looked beautiful!

prama - the nurse did DD's needles one at a time. It was difficult because after the first one she knew what was coming and she didn't like it at all! She sobbed into my shoulder afterwards the poor little thing! I'm glad to hear the party went well.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOPHIE

I'M SO TERRIBLY SORRY !!! I have been caught up in my own little world I didn't even think about poor Soph, I have no excuse, I feel awful, I'm so glad to hear your little princess had a great day yesterday.

Glad to hear everyone had great parties, Love the pics of the cakes, We have set pretty high precedents (sp)or whatever the word is for future birthdays...O dear!!

How did the needles go Jen?

I didn't buy any flowers yesterday I bought nappies instead. Felt a little down in the dumps over the weekend, It's easier during the week you don't see so many families together, mostly one parent and the kids but weekends..no they are for families, makes me a little sad when mine is seperated.

Hows the flu/bug Prama are you all better? Funny how granparents do things like that isn't it, Must have been a great toy!!

    O Z is awake BBL.

Sorry guys for being such a bad BB buddy.
