I come bearing exciting news BELLA SLEPT, I got some sleep, I feel recharged again this morning. So the tummy sleeping did the trick. I was so worried about weaning her off the swaddling but maybe that's why she has been so restless at night cause she's trying to get out of the blanket.

Hope you all had a good night too, BBL, off to run my kids around to all of their social activities

Not catching here had a crap night. He went down at 7 then woke at 11 for a feed and I was up at 1,3 and then he was wide awake at 4.30 for an hour and a half and then went back down himself from 6 until 7.45 when his sister woke him. She was up at 6.30 but we stuck her in front of Dora and Diego to get a little rest.

Do you think he may need solids? I was so determined to go to 6 mths this time. With DD I went early at 5 mths. Xavier is 5 mths today and he is way more active than Erykah was. I cant decide what to do. I could do without the hassle for another month as I already cook 3 different meals as I am veggie and DD is fussy and then usually do something different for DH.

Not sure what to do advice appreciated. And some sleep vibes DS's way LOL

    Jo

PS I also missed his Zantac yesterday for reflux he is only on a 1ml a day so I am not sure if he needs it anymore. He wasnt screaming in pain when he woke just woke crying had a feed then settled back to sleep until 4.30 that was.

We have stopped wrapping Emily and now she is sleeping terribly! I think she is too big for the bassinett now so she will have to go into her cot in the next few days. She kept trying to roll over last night and couldn't so ended up sleeping on her side.

Solids probably wont help hun. Ashton is on solids but he still wakes up 4 or more times a night. Rarely it's 3 but usually 4 or 5 times

That was my thought really as DD it made no difference. Got my mum telling me to do it just like she did with DD. Under the fog of no sleep I was thinking should I just try it. Dont think I will bother.

I am ready to tear my hair out. All day the whinge or whine... DH agreed to watch DD so I could play xbox to relax and she has the biggest hissy fit and crying session. I think I am heading to bed so I can at least rest.

    Sorry to vent girls

That's what I did too hun. Went to bed with Ash and we ended up both falling asleep.

Might she be getting her teeth? Or getting sick? Ash is sick so that's why he is whinging non stop, so I forgive him.

Yiiiikes girls, I think that we need a hey. Bella slept fairly well again last night, but in saying that, she was up until 9pm - she is usually down by 6.30pm and sirs pretty much every 20 minutes.

MM - mwaw, if it's any consolation, my df is the biggest jacka$$ going around. Did his usual today, got up with a sore back and can't help with bella - today is his only day off

take care all. off to wash some nappies while missy is having a quick kip.

oh yeah Donna I know the feeling too well hun. It's hard, but remember that tomorrow is another day

Sue that sucks!! Whingers they are. Dave doesn't live here. In the last 13 days he has been here 4 times. I txt him the other day asking him to please come help out cos I was exhausted and he said I was just whinging... and no he didn't come help me.

I txt him a couple of days later (he had been up the night before, gets here at 5pm and by then the big kids are almost in bed and Ash goes down at 7) and asked him to please come help and he said he was already home working on his boat... so I told him i need him to help me cos I am finding it hard to cope on my own with the 3 of them. He carried on about me whinging all the time that he never does anything... well HELLO YOU DON'T... so I told him I was done, I didn't want to be with him anymore. I had enough of his crap.

Friday I txt him and asked for panadol cos Ash had a temp and I didn't want to drag 3 kids out at 5.30pm and walk the 45 minutes to the pharmacy and he wouldn't bring it over, then ignored me all night. So yesterday I told him to come help cos Ash is sick and has spent all day crying and you guessed it... I am a complainer! And I expect him to drop everything... well YES Ashton is your SON and should be more important then hanging out with your mates.

Well I went off and told him to get his ass here. He walked in the door, demanded I hand Ashton to him, I said no not until he calms down, he went off so I kicked him out and told him I had it, he isn't welcome here anymore. I am so sick of playing nice guy This is the same guy who left me 4 months pregnant and didn't want to see Ash until he was 3.5 month old. I have given him chance after chance to make things better and each time he hurts me and treats me like crap... well no more!

    Sooooooo over it... really am

Hello everyone, sorry to not have been posting very much - it's been pretty busy here in HK and I can't always get on the computer for long! Matthew's two bottom teeth are through and visible but he's still drooling and seems to be more bothered now than when they were coming up. Not sure if this means that others are on the way but I've started him on teething rusks and teething biscuits that we bought at a supermarket here. I was going to hold off until he was 6 months to start him on solids, as directed by the early childhood nurse but given the gusto with which Matthew is chewing on the rusks, think we will be letting him try solids this week. He's 5 and a half months so think it should be all right.

We took Matthew to HK Disneyland on Friday and despite being too young for pretty well everything there, he did enjoy the big parade and the fireworks at the end of the day. Grizzled a lot and had a good scream when mobbed by about 20 Chinese women all trying to get him to smile. A common occurrence here :P

Glad to know everyone seems to be dealing with the same grizzles and whinginess - it will get better, won't it?

I think it's the age Kerry. Maybe it's the teething and frustration of not being able to get around with the ease they want. Ashton seems to get really frustrated when he gets stuck or whatever and will chuck a tantrum. Same goes if I don't give him something I am eating or drinking if it's not appropriate (like a crunchie shake from Wendys lol)

Happy Birthday, Mel!! Hope you have a great day! Regardless of Dave. Who sounds like he's being a total nong. We say poo to him! Hope karma bites him on the bottom. Enjoy some cake today and a drinkie tonight - you deserve it. And the crunchie shake sounds YUM.

Suzie, I'm glad Bella is sleeping better. Doesn't sound like she needs to be swaddled any more. Well done!

Erin, Matthew was well and truly too big for his bassinet by about 3 months, he kept getting free of his muslin swaddle and hitting the sides with his arms. We've been co-sleeping since I moved him out of the bassinet, but I put him in his cot for daytime sleeps (not while we're in HK though). How's Emily going in the cot?

All is nice and quiet here. Had a terrible time trying to get Matthew to sleep last night, for the second night in a row, with lots of screaming which is not much fun in an apartment on the 12th floor! But he sleeps most of the night through and is asleep again now, so I mustn't grumble. We went out yesterday afternoon, HK is soooo noisy. We stopped in at McDonalds and there was a children's party taking place - the staff member in charge had a headset microphone and was revving the kids up to earbleed volume. I would have liked to have garotted her with her headset!

HI everyone, sorry i have not been on for ages.
I think every time i post i apologise LOL.

I'm so busy with the kids that i just dont get a chance, plus my internet/computer has been crap but its all sorted out now

Nathan is going well, crawling and has one tooth. No full on solids yet we are doing BLW so we will wait a good few months yet. I think around 11 months ish.
Wow having 2 babies is hard work, they refise to sleep at the same time hey, and i am exhausted Nathan is still having 3-5 breastfeeds during the night 0 we co sleep so it makes it a bit easier though. But i have not slept a good night sleep for 7 months!!! HELP!!!!

Is anyone NOT immunising? I am questioning it at the moment, i dont think we are going to.
