A very silly question! Please Enlighten Me

I have a really silly question to ask and I feel stupid as I type it but I can't help but think about it!!

If you wear tracksuit pants with elastic or anything like that over you belly is there any harm to the baby?

I am 22 wks, should I be wearing them under my belly?? They are just normal tracksuit pants not maternity but still fit me...

its not silly, i used to think the same thing.

It wont harm bub. If bub doesnt like it then u will prob get some swift kicks to say "mum get that off me". You can wear your trackies where ever YOU feel comfortable.

my theory is as long as it's comfy, it shouldnt' matter - i still wear my work pants at 27weeks - i lost weight early in pregnancy and they aren't at all uncomfy. i just figure there is enough padding with the amniotic fluid to protect the baby

as SOON as you start feeling anything is too firm, don't wear it any more - but in the interim, wear what you're comfy with hun

I agree with the others sweet. Wear whatever you feel comfy in. As it starts to fell uncomfortable, then adjust them.

And it's not a silly question at all. i dont think there are any silly questions!

    Hey Hun,

No no probs with it...bubs is safe in there in a nice warm bath with lots of protection around!!! As long as you are comfy go for it! And don't worry babies are very willing to start kicking hard to say they are uncomfy if you sit or lay etc in what they see as a less than perfect position lol!!
