Smile Help me prove her wrong...Ironing Debate

I was talking to my BFF last night and when she rang I was ironing ( DS had gone to bed )and I was watching Packed to the Rafters..Normal Tuesday for me. When she asked me what the noise was (steam) I told her I wa ironing and she ROFL...Umm Ok so whats so funny?

She never irons anymore..nothing..nada..zip!! No-one according to her irons anymore...Let alone folds their knickers..Yep I do that too!! So in a bid to win this bet please tell me fellow goddesses........BTW I have a Free shout coffee riding on this!!

"Am I the only one getting her facial from the iron steam?"

LOL. I don't think no-one irons. You should have just said "no wonder you look like such a scruff bag!" PMSL.

I guess technically I don't iron.. but I always have intentions of ironing (check my massive ironing pile!!), and I still have to iron some things as I need them. I fold undies too I do occassionally catch up with my ironing

I despise ironing and simply try and buy things that don't need ironing haha,

We had to throw out an iron a few months back cus ants had made a nest in it

I prob use our new iron about 2 times a month.. maybe more now cus I have to iron DD clothes

I iron stuff as I need it, and only stuff where someone is going to look like a slob if I don't. I wouldn't iron linen, for instance!

I would probably do more ironing if I had more time - I love giving the kids a warm, neat pile of clean, freshly ironed clothes. (I don't like so much finding them all shoved under the bed in a rumpled heap, unworn.)

i haven't ironed in at least 3.5years! but i buy clothes that don't need ironing - i DO own two ironing boards (haven't gotten rid of one since we moved in together), and apparently we have two or three irons here that are in good nick!

i will admit that i have planned on ironing some of Gremlins stuff - will probably have the study set up to make it easy for me to iron one or two things at a time rather than trying to do heaps at once

and if it gets too much - well, i have a friend that irons to earn extra bucks - i'll just drop it with her! lol

I iron as little as possible - maybe once a month if we are going out etc.

I iron pretty much all of our clothes - i try to iron them as they come off the line.
    I hate doing it though!

    I fold all underwear.
DH's work clothes don't get ironed, at his request though. His everyday clothes just get folded (his request again) Only clothes of his that get ironed are good, going out clothes.

DD's clothes I iron, now way could I send her to school in unironed clothes.

My clothes sometime get ironed other times not. They'll either get chucked or drooled on before someone even notices that they're a little crinkly lol.

i refuse to iron! the only thing i will do is shirts, like suit shirts and givin the fact DF rarely needs to wear a suit, i rarely need to iron! i used to when we first moved out together, and i'd iron everything pillow cases, tea towels, hankies! but i really cant be bothered anymore, everything falls into shape after about 10 minutes of wearing it so i really dont see the need

I hate ironing but I love ironed clothes so I definiately iron. I usually do it on Wednesday afternoon - I tape Packed to the Rafters and watch that while ironing. The only things I don't iron is DH's work clothes (he is a builder so no point) and undies. I even iron DS's pj's - nothing cuter than my little blonde haired boy in his crisp cotton jammies .
And seeing as it's Wednesday.. I better go tackle my basket.
