    non leaking breasts

    Hi all,

My breasts are still not leaking. I sometimes find the cheese like stuff in them, but no actual leaking. Should I be worried? Or is it just that my boobs are not leaky boobs??

My boobs are not leaking either. If I squeeze my nipples I can often get some stuff out but not alot. I think its fairly normal not to be leaking, everyone is different

    Hey Tara
    Dont worry about it!

My boobs didn't leak AT ALL, not even any crusty stuff! hehe
When dd was born i had complications and was rushed into theatre, i didn't get to see her for over 3 hours later. I thought this meant i was definately not going to be able to breast feed. But nope! Day 4 my milk came in and when it came in i mean.. it REALLY came in!! hahaha

DD breastfed up until her first birthday, after that i weaned her onto a bottle, and now she just uses sippy cups.

Don't stress, your body will know what to do when you're baby arrives!

Good luck! And enjoy it! (its so beautiful, i just loved it)

Not everyone's boobs leak during pregnancy, and it's no indication at all of what will happen after bubs comes .

    Phew.

I thought it was all ok, but when you hear the all these other women are wearing breast pads leaking etc and you're not, you start to worry

Although, DH did say the other day that he got a funny taste from my bb's when DTD So i guess that's some reassurance

    Thanks for your replies.

Mine leaked with first baby by 30wks i was wearing pads full time after a few bad accidents, this time aren't leaking yet unless pressure applied and even then not much.

It just adds to my theory its a boy. As my no#1 was a girl and a friend of mine never leaks and has all boys.

How coincidental I ran into this post today! I also was concerned that I was not leaking either, yet this very morning Fiance informed me I had a very wet round spot on my nipple. I turned bright RED and laughed. Yet, it was only one breast that leaked???

Girls please don't worry about non-leaking boobs. I breastfed both my boys without any problems and NEVER EVER leaked. That's right, not during pregnancy or even after they were born. Some women just don't, so please don't think it will have any bearing on your ability to breastfeed (I just like to think my body is very efficient and probably suited to living in the desert - I don't waste a drop )

I was just like RoryRory, I didn't leak during pregnancy or after DS was born. We BF without a problem for 18 months. I was using breastpads after he was born but didn't really know what they were for - I was using them to protect my bra from dribble when he was feeding lol. I had no idea that they could squirt out milk with no baby attached.

I am another non leaker. Never leaked with DD, not even when I was breast feeding and we fed successfully for 8 months. I am now 32 weeks pregnant and no leaking again..although can express the teeniest tiniest amount this time. I always used to think myself lucky that I didn't leak...didn't need extra mess lol!

I only leaked at night if my boob got squashed hehe. And I got occasional crusties as well. With pg #2 I was still breastfeeding, so no leaking

Aww.. you girls haven't lived if you haven't sprayed milk across the room (or on a friend) whilst feeding! LOL

Sound hilarious doesn't it??? A huge cracker??? Get's better.....
I managed to slip over in one puddle and bruise the heck out of the back of my butt cheek.
Yeah yeah, Steve Martin eat your heart out.
