    how do I ....

use icing that has been stored overnight in the fridge.

I feel like I am in cupcake hell at the moment and am stressing about the fact i made the icing this afternoon and have put it in the fridge ready to decorate the cupcakes in the morning. But of course the icing will be hard from being in the fridge so how do I get it to a workable state ready to decorate. This will need to be a quick process as I wont have much time to do it in the morning.

Thank you - your resposne will be sooo greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I cant imagine icing sugar going off with all the sugar in it. I dont think it will hurt.

At least you had the foresight to think about it going hard - I learnt the hard way :-)
