Yeah thats what someone i know did. Maybe it might be worth looking in the phone book and calling a laser place and asking them what the procedure is. Maybe they can organise an appointment for you so they can look at it and you can ask all the questions you have. I know that they leave a scar but maybe they can do it in a way that its not so bad.
Hi Winter
What colour is the tattoo and how big is it? Black is apparently the hardest to get off.
I had laser tattoo removal on a tat I had on my shoulder a couple of years ago, unfortunately for me it only faded to about half of the original ink and wouldn't budge any further, it was black too. I ended up getting it covered over a few weeks ago.
Basically you will need to have between 6 and 10 laser sessions for it to be removed. The time between each session needs to be 6 to 8 weeks, so it can take up to 2 years to be removed completely. And it really hurts too!
Oh, and the scar they leave is hardly noticeable, some people don't have scarring at all
Not too big, but its black...I don't hate it, but I got it done when I was 20 and I don't want to be that person anymore IYKWIM? I'd love it to fade. Do you know anyone with success with a black one?
