The Body Shop has a tea tree oil stick. You can dab it straight on, the end is like a cotton tip.

Thursday Plantation make a tea tree oil gel that's virtually the same. I was very upset when they discontinued the Blackmores item.

Are we talking ingrown secret pimples (red lumps) or nasty ones with heads?

    Eye drops reduce the redness...

My sister used tomato sauce on hers last night - gave me a fright as it looked n.a.s.t.y but hey, it might work...forgot to check today though, sorry!

Re. Blackmores - have you checked overseas for it?

Well this thread has really come into its own now I'm facing a crop of chemo acne every three weeks LOL.

Lulu I resorted to the body shop item and found it good in stopping them from getting big and painful.

Wilso I will look out for the Thursday Plantation product. Glad there's someone else out there who's mourning the loss of the blackmores LOL.

choccky - ewww sorry not going there with the tomato sauce. That's B. A. D. LOL

Jenni - agree with you on the witchhazel...I find it prevents a lot before they start...was using it regularly with great results before the chemo, but it's a bit too drying at the moment. Will start again in a month or so time when my skin has recovered a bit.

Witch Hazel concealer is fantastic - the normal stick is good too, but the concealer works wonders. I found Body Shop stuff to be a bit too strong for me. It gave me lovely flakey dry skin around a spot which didn't shift.

I'm currently using Clarins Normal/Oily cleanser and toner with Lancome Hydrazen Neurocalm moisturiser and pretty clear skin atm. Not at all drying - the moisturiser was more to correct some problem reddy skin I've had since DS came along.

You can get it online or at most pharmacies
