I'm somewhere between 5'11 and 6' - so fairly tall. And my favourite shoes atm are 4" heels: I look fantastic in them. Wear heels if you want, ladies! I rarely wear 4" heels with DH as he's short, but do so when I'm not out with him.

I have bought shoes from cross-dresser shops before now, so ended up with rather sexy men's shoes.

If you think big feet are freaky, just think how you'd look being 6' tall with size 2 feet. Now that would be just plain weird.

How on earth would you balance with feet that small?

I feel for my DD though - 9 years old and already a size 3-4

I had size UK7 feet at age 10. I was in heels then because at that time that's all the shoe choices there were, realistically. I was a UK3 at age 7.

Tall = freak? Not so! Look at all the supermodels out there. No superpowers (wouldn't that rock?) but all lauded for their height. Tall is great. I can reach things off top shelves for little people in supermarkets - those little people who were looking for a step. Tall people can put on half a stone and not go up 3 dress sizes. Tall people are assumed to be psychologically balanced, capable and sensible. Which is a great disguise for me: I could not have gotten through life without it! Tall rocks.

And why do short people wear heels? So they can look as tall as we do naturally. They're jealous. We're not.

And short people steal our fashions - we made pedal pushers and 3/4 length pants look smokin' hot well before they started making them like that on purpose

Same for miniskirts! And how much better does a tall person look in a floor-length dress?

    10-11 ladies WIDE.
My Sister is a 12-13 and struggles big time. An old friend onf mine ( 6ft 5 bloke) had size 17 feet and had to get his shoes made!!

I pretty much only wear thongs, strappy shoes and runners because my feet are so wide

I guess i should try to embrace my height more & start to focus on the positives not the negatives.
You ladies are right there are some great things about being tall.

I feel sorry for my boys, not so bad for them cause they can still get shoes but DS1 just turned 7 and is struggling to fit into size 3

Another big foot here. Wide, flat and Size 11. I must say I LOVE my feet. I think they are gorgeous feet (unfortunately I have kankles but)
As for shoes we are farmers so no problems getting work boots. In the summer I live in billabong thongs usually. The only real trouble U have is finding nursing shoes and I hate how you rarely get a special as the shoes on sale aren't stocked in over a 10. I hate that.
    I'm 181cm.

    Nice, very nice!

My favourite work shoes split right across the sole. SO annoyed, they're not even a year old yet
