Nair )I think that's the brand) do a good bikini wax for at home. It's the only one I've seen actually. I never had issues with it being too hot. Of course, you should test it in a sensitive area prior to applying down there
I switched from shaving to waxing at home some years ago (wanted to save $$ too) and I was using Veet. They have a good product for at home waxing, it comes in a blue oval tub. When I was shaving I used a Schik razor.
For the last 18 months I have gone back to having my beautician do my waxing.
Instead of shaving how about trimming? The shaver shop has a range of ladies trimmers that take care of that area and are easy, pain free and have none of the drawbacks of shaving.
I used to shave, love trimming and detest waxing. There are even trimmers on the market that are quite small that are available for men's facial hair but work great on the bikini line, perhaps something to consider?
Hmmm... I have a little pink one, came in a silver bag thingo. Can't remember the brand! Remington maybe? It's good, adjustable hair length and small - specifically for bikini area. Think I bought it from **** Smith.
I have a braun electric shaver/trimmer/epilator. Came with plastic shapes to style your pubes with. But the heads are small, pretty painless for the epilator and easy to use.
