Will post later but wanted to say I'm quite enjoying the change but am still learning to manage it properly

Sent from my iPhone, more than likely while I should be doing something else!

best.move.ever I have had long hair for years and always always had it tied up because It anoyed me down so I have it cut into a concave bob and I LOVE it. I wash and wear and if Im going out I might blow dry it. I go back to the hair dressers every 6 weeks as I get my hair coloured now too

I thought about it for ages and ages in the end the hair dressers had a special on so I jumped at it and cant believe I put it off for so long

Heh, over the years I've had a whole range of different lengths, the longest is where it is currently which is just below my shoulders almost to mid-back length. Longer than that it just goes ratty and horrible.

I was 13 the first time I had it cut super short (pixie style) and it was awesome! So light and easy to take care of, I could funk it up a bit with some styling wax if I wanted but if I was short of time it was wash and wear and it dried so quickly compared to taking all day just about for my long hair to dry. I grew it out again later on but had it cut again the year after DD was born, then grew it back out and have had it chin length with messy layers for a while, which was also easy and fun. Maintenance wise, you'll need a trim at LEAST every 6-8 weeks, more if your hair grows quickly.

I still get tempted to get the chop again, usually around this time of year when my long thick hair starts driving me nuts by being hot and itchy on the back of my neck....but DH loves my hair and has threatened to grow a biker beard if I have it cut
