Ive just gone back to blonde!
Is it a specific ingredient in the shampoo that gives you excema?
Depends how blonde you want to be for the maintenance?
I leave a quarter head of brown on the bottom.
I also have some brown foils in as well as the blonde to kinda break it up.
Pics on my FB if you want to see what I mean :-)

I can't imagine that it would have much impact other than if you feel more attractive/confident one way or the other!

I was born blonde, that white blonde. By highschool it had started to darken though and I would get foils to stay blonde. When my DD was born (I was 21), I just could not be bothered to keep it up so washed through a dark brown and waited to see what would grow out (I was expecting a dark blonde/light brown sort of thing), turns out I'm super brunette naturally now and I love it, I think it really suits me and wonder why I kept up the blonde thing for so long! My fun factor hasn't seemed affected.

YAY for a blonde! So do you feel different... Are you having more fun? lol I especially think blonde is so nice for summer Can you pm me a link to your FB photos? I just have bad skin and any chemicals react with it. So the purple shampoo needed to keep the blonde looking good is chemical (not a natural one) so it's pretty much out of the question to go blonde again. UNLESS someone can tell me a natural purple shampoo?

Jellyfish I was also very light brown/blonde as a baby/child/teenager then it started getting darker at around 14ish and during pg it's gone even darker! (with a few grey streaks) LOL

Just wanted to add that I never used any special shampoo when I was getting my hair blonde and it seemed to 'keep' just fine between appointments so you might be able to skip that? I used to just get half a head of foils done every 6-8 weeks.
