Cloud 9 are made by the original 'inventors' of GHD I upgraded to my 9's on the recommendation of my hair dresser this year. GHDs are still fab but Cloud 9's just have a few more features and better technology. You can definitely achieve more styles due to the adjustable heat seatings. I highly recommend them purely on the basis that they are just the next step up from GHDs
