I have a Cloud Nine and I love it. The variable heat works wonders, you start off with the highest heat the first time you straighten and then drop the temp for touch-ups.

I have wavy (getting more curly as it grows) hair and I get dead straight hair with my Cloud Nine.

Great to hear Sopdet. I have thick wavy hair and I'd love to have dead straight hair. It just feels more manageable.

Thanks for all the feedback. DH has now been advised a Cloud Nine would be a great Christmas present

I ADORE my GHD i dont think i could live without it! But that said ive had it for nearly 3 years and its starting to die on me! It doesn't take its usual what 3 or 6 secs to heat up anymore and i spend about 20 mins straightening when it used to take me only 10 mins! So i'm looking for a new straightener and Cloud Nine definitely sounds like the better option.

    Vote for Cloud 9

I vote 1 for cloud 9 too, it does a good job and the price is fairly good
