hair frizzy curly fluffy not straight and shiny help please.

i have a ghd my hair still is dry and straw like instead of nice and soft and shiny.

Do you colour your hair? When I was lighter my hair was drying with each colour. Now I'm darker and my hair hair returned to shiny and soft. I also get a treatment with each colour. Also, the hairdressers have changed their product to organic and the colour lasts longer!

There is a product called moroccan oil and I swear by it in my hair salon it works wonders in dry frizzy and curly hair and also straight and frizzy hair! You can also add it to your conditioner to make a treatment use it after straightening for a sleek shiny look and before blowdrying and straightening Also if you colour your hair you can have it added into any hair colour to protect the hair and add shine

alot of people add back more conditioner or oil but i find it makes the hair look stiff or oily then too soon after washing

i went to my hairdressor who put some serum into my hair and it did make it so much nicer immediately. she said other oils stay on the surface but this one is absorbed intot he hair. so maybe its a bit similar to what you are talking about

hair house warehouse sold me a fortune in shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner.

Do you want your hair straight all the time? If so, I can recommend a straightening processed called Latino - Google 'latino hair straightening'.

A few of my friends have had it done. It keeps your hair straight for about 3-4 months at a time. And this is not like the old school chemical straightening, it is a protein treatment - their hair is very soft and shiny.

It is expensive but one of my friends had hair like yours all her life, but very 'fluffy' too and we cannot believe the difference.

She's going to have it done for the second time in a few weeks because it does wash/grow out but the more you have it done, the longer it lasts.

i dont know the differences between the different types of straightening

i do know a wealthy friend who has her hair straightened nearbye , for about 6 months at a time it lasts and it costs maybe $500. does that sound like the same thing? it might be worth it for me seeing how much work my hair is but i cant see myself spending that although its probably cheaper in the long run. i recently paid $40 to have my hair blowwaved straight as i didnt have time to do it and i had a situation i needed to look good for fast. it does cause me alot of hassles so it probably would really help me to do that.

Where do you live? The salon's in the city here (Sydney) charge that much, but the ones out here closer to home (western sydney) charge a few hundred less. My friend paid $300, that was for the latino straightening, cut and colour.

If you have the money, I'd definitely recommend it. She literally gets up in the morning, washes it (you do need to use a special keratin based shampoo I think) gives it a quick dry with the hairdryer and she's out the door. She can even let it air dry if she's just at home - UNHEARD of for her.

i have curly frizzy hair.

I wash and condition it in the shower and brush it at the same time. i never brush it dry, unless i want it frizzy.
Then i get out, i don't towel dry it i just leave it to dry, when it's not dripping i put in some product and just leave it. I use frizz free balms, curl products but generally a creme works best in my hair.

If i straighten it all the time it goes frizzy. The hair dryer and straightener dry it out. So i learnt to embrace the curl and have it straighten from time to time. Although i have just cut it all off really short so it's not so surly now!
