Talking Hairdresser? How often do you spoil yourself?

    Hi girls,
How often do you go to the hairdresser? :P & how much would you spend each time??

I go every 4-5months and spend $170 per visit so i think that's pretty reasonable! When i go, i get half head of foils to cover my re-growth (by 5mths its pretty bad haha) and blow dry, style, trim, toner (to stop my hair going yellow as its blonde) and hair conditioner treatment.... i get the whole lot in one go!!! (i have long hair so costs more too)
it's my once every 5mths "spoil yourself" treat cos i figure i work hard and dont spend much money on clothes etc so my hair is my treat!!!!
I am going this Saturday yay!!! I love going!!! I should go every 8 weeks for trim but i forget!!!!

Hmmm, maybe every 12 -18 months!!!

I just cant be bothered & even though every time I walk out thinking, man I'm gonna book in again soon coz I love it!!!

I can think of so many other things to spend that $200 (roughly) on in that particular week & so I just let it drag on & on...

I had a heap cut off last time & that was in Feb! So now its just growing out again!???

I get a haircut every 6-8 weeks...so fortunate that the girl who cuts my hair was the head stylist at Toni and Guy and now works from home...so haircuts are only $50...and she's wonderful...

I get a 1/2 head of foils every 6 months...

Hair products cost me lots though...and my most favourite hair product is no longer in production...so I'm feeling very lost...and hair is frazzled!!!

I go every 6 - 8 weeks for cut colour and foils @ $165. I think that is pretty reasonable as well. My hairdresser is sooooo good.

I think $150 is a bit expensive too - my DH nearly hit the roof when i told him of the price increase.... Her prices have gone way up. My sisters get theirs done at $75 (mates rates) so im going to start travelling (about 20 mins) to get my hair done there....i have long hair so looking at about $100.

yeah my hairdresser is good too... That's what keeps me going back there....
i agree Niass, price doesnt mean anything when it comes to hairdressers....

i go back to mine cos' she knows exactly what i like and my hair always looks great walking out... and never disappointed (touch wood!) and i figure i'm in there for 2.5hrs and for $170.00 thats not bad!!!!

Every 3-4 months. When I used to go to a hairdresser at our closest shopping centre, it was costing $120-140 for a cut, colour, foils. Now we have moved, I went to the one in the main street here and it cost me $85. Very happy with that.
Sometimes I get really slack and wont go for close to a year, but I love going and for $85 I think it's worth it for a couple of hours of me time.

I go about every 12 weeks for a cut, full head of foils and blow dry. I'm a bit of a Hairdresser tart and rarely go to the same place so it costs me anywhere between $100 and $200!

I've recently just gotten the "pob" though which needs cutting every 6-8 weeks to be maintained so i'll be going a bit more often now.

I need to get my cut maintained about every 2 months... my hairdresser friend used to do it for free, but then she moved to Melbourne! So I now pay about $25 per month.

I dye my own hair, using the same dyes hairdressers use - from a wholesaler... costs under $10 for each application, which I also do about every 2 months.

About once a year... no joke... infact when I first joined BB I had hair down to my waist! it's really strong hair that doesn't get many split ends. I mainly just wear it up... lots of different ways... I rarely blow dry it so I think that also keeps it looking healthy... 'spose I'd like to go more often, but being a SAHM there's not much call for it really... I'll probably book in an appointment the week before I have to accompany my DH to the races (annual corporate event during the Melbourne Spring Carnival) I have to look good for that... but maybe I'll just ask for a trim and a French twist this year instead of a cut... I guess I like the challenge of doing something with my hair as it grows...

Hairdresser - what is that !! LMAO.

The last time i went to a hairdresser was went I had all my hair cut off to above my shoulders, it is now a good inch below my bra strap at the back. I do have a friend that is hairdresser and has set up a salon at home. I should really ask her about going there at night or on a weekend to get my hair trimmed, and then make regular 6wk appointments, to keep it neat.

I rarely blowdry my hair as well Bathsheba, but it is still full of split ends

I hate my hair at the moment cause I am starting to srpout new hair on the top of my head so i have all these little strands of hair sticking up in what would be the fringe and down my part etc. annoying LOL

    Love

I used to have my foils redone every 10 weeks but since Riley we haven't really had the money! I have just found a great hairdresser who comes to your home or you can go to hers. I had 15 foils for $40, she charges $25 for a wash and cut and $70 for 1/2 head foils.

I went last december and got a cut, half head of foils, treatment & blowwave, and it cost me $150.

the was the first time in 2 years I'd had anything done to my hair, much to the hairdressers horror.

I would love to get it trimmed every 6-8 weeks, and coloured maybe 2-3 times a year if I can find somehwere cheaper than that. When I used to live near ballarat I could get the same thing done exactly, for under $100. I'm too scraed to get any colour done at the local hairdressers...its very offputting when all the staff have really bad colour and awful haircuts..makes me think twice.
