Used to pluck my brows, with the odd wax every so often to get a good shape again. Then I noticed that my lip needed waxing, something I do not want to do at home. So now I get a brow and lip wax every 3-4 weeks.
Other areas I just shave myself, will get a professional wax if I want it to be super nice for a special occasion.

No longer colour my hair. I would swing between doing it myself and getting it professionally done. Pay for haircuts, but lucky to fit them in 3 times a year.

I know the lady who owns the beauty salon, our kids go to school, childcare together. So getting a wax is a social thing, we have a chat. Also means I wont get ripped off $$ or have a really had treatment, she also does her best to squeeze in last minute appointments

Ha, this thread came up at the right time. I was only wondering if I could tint my own lashes today.
I used to dye my own hair. It's hideously expensive here at the hairdressers. But my GF is a hairdresser at one of the afore mentioned exxie salons and she's the best hairdresser ever. So she does mine at home now that I decided I wanted foils again....does that count? She also does all my cuts here in the kitchen.
Do my own eyebrows unless I make it to the big smoke (lol) where it doesn't cost $40 just for eyebrows and not even a very good job.
Bikinis is best left to the pros though. I'm just not that flexible.

I get the Man to do my bright red hair colour. My friend and my Mum have also done it. I couldn't bear the cost of getting it done, even once, at a salon. I pay for haircuts, maybe once a year (found the best hairdresser here in town, but she is "the wench" I have mentioned before I used to work with..... ). I don't pluck my eyebrows, though am thinking about it... Before Mack absorbed all my time, I would use an epilady thingy to pluck the hairs from my legs,, so use a veet cream. Self-waxing omg, too painful! I think shaving my legs is painful too, but shave under my arms. Go figure. Used to pay for leg waxing, but adding it up, wow, I would have spent a lot in the past....

Should just now look into that colour you are talking about Rouge, my hair is a bit too long for just one box of colour.
