Lemon and vinegar aren't as harsh as they sound because our skin has an acidic Ph - products with a neutral Ph are actually not very good for it. If you use an apple cider vinegar and water it down it shouldn't be too harsh.

I know people who swear by beer but it's a bit yeasty so if you're prone to yest infections you want to steer clear of it.

Spodet, my hair is long and about half of it is dry down the bottom due to foils about 18 months ago and I guess my scalp has been oily since not long after ds was born. Thanks for your tips on what to use.

Onyx I was thinking of more so of the lemon and vinegar getting on my hands where I have eczema, to would sting really badly I kind of think bear would hurt my hands too. When my eczema clears up next year I will give the lemon and vinegar a go.
