I'm still waiting for toomanyshoes to reply! Tehehe

I personally have 10 all up. That includes 1 pair everyday/workshoes, 1 pair trainers, 3 pairs heels (this includes one pair of "never-to-be-worn-but-super-pretty-stripper-ones", haha, yes, I have those too!), 3 pairs ballet flats, 1 pair of slippers and 1 pair of thongs. That's it.

I love my jeans too - but sometimes I like to wear the cute shiny ballet flats with the buckle, or sometimes the brown patent croc skin look ones, or the black with a bow or .........choices, I like choices!

Oh, and I actually don't own any thongs! I don't really like thongs lol.

I probably have about 10 pair, but 2 of them are old wedding shoes that really need to be ditched, and another pair are a pair of white flats that I'd never be seen dead in again

So 7, my sneakers, my back up sneakers for when these ones fall apart, my ugg boots, my going out shoes, my steel cap boots, and my flat open toed sandals, and my heels.

my name is Jo and I have enough shoes to safely see many caterpillars through their shoe life...
I have 5 different pairs of thongs in different colours (I actually have 2 different shades of pink)
I have ballet flats x 4, sensible work shoes with support x2 , patent leather heels in black and another pair in red, 4 pairs of boots, medium sensible heels x3 , heels that are made from crome, heels that are cork, heels that are black, heels that are brown. Slip on's in tan, brown and white, black, silver....... I have more but I think you get the drift.

Mrs B26 I am so envious of your storage system!!!

6 - One pair of thongs, one pair of work shoes, one pair of joggers, one pair of silver thongs and 2 pairs of heels.

I never wear the joggers cause I have a bung toe, the silver thongs I can't walk in - not at all - and the heels I have worn twice.

So, I live in 2 pairs, thongs & work shoes

    I would like more.

    My wedding shoes
Gold sandals, black sandals, LV thongs,
Adidas pink shell toes, black ballet shoes, white ballet type shoes
Ugh boots, in black, brown and hot pink with flowers ( what was I thinking? )
Six pairs of different colored havaanas thongs are my addiction, I could wear them all year
Three pair of different height black high heels
Brown Pocahontas high heels , love them
    Silver stilettos
    Chunky wedges
    Knee high black boots
Comfy brown slouch boots ( fave boots )
Pink ballet shoes with pink and white flower, from boutique in st Kildare , never worn...
Worn out black ballet from same boutique...

Three pairs of ridiculous high heels, never to be worn again and about four pairs that could do with a bin...

And there are also two odd shoes

Ooooh forgot the three boxes unopened at the top of my cupboard, when I was pregnant I kept thinking I needed does and so I kept buying pairs and not realizing till I got home. I didn't want to look stupid returning them so I stashed them

My name is rufalina and I have a shoe addiction. You can never have enough shoes. I probably have about 30 pairs, and the only reason there are so few, is DH keeps me culled. I cant travel without taking a dozen pairs (and that is for a weekend at my parents house). I however, am not anal with them, too lazy, they are all in the boxes they came in, if they are good, or in crates according to style for things, or flats, or runners etc... MrsB, I have visions of being so organised...I wish...

And don't ask me how many pairs I have in my filing cabinet drawers (yes multiple) at work... scary.... I wear flats to the office and change there. I have trashed too many heals on the city streets...

28 pairs, plus three that are on their way to the op shop. I don't think it's excessive.

My friend Scott's grandma always said "be prepared to spend a lot of money on your beds and your shoes. You'll spend your whole life in one or the other."

Ironically, I haven't worn any shoes in nearly 48 hours.

I am also a shoe addict, although I am currently on top of my addiction, because of finances My mum helps to keep me in many shoes, she buys them for me overseas every year (we're the same size, and she has fab taste). Being a Melbournite, I have a serious boot addiction, which is a problem, because they are so expensive!

I only like 'good' shoes, I don't buys cheapies (Except for my 5 pairs of Havvies ) And I do keep my collection reasonably well culled. I probably have about 40 ATM? It is a serious problem, although one that I enjoy very much

I'm not game to count but at least 35. An array of ballet flats (black, tan, bronze silver, grey, red, leather, suede, canvas) I like choice haha. About 6 different pairs of gladiator sandals (they are all I wear in summer), again in different colours and styles. My Docs, few pairs of chuck taylors in various colours, runners, havvies, knee high boots, ankle boots, few pairs of heels. And lastly the pièce de résistance a pair of vintage platform wedges..black leather with a wooden stacked heel. They cost a small fortune and I hardly ever wear them...they are way too high and uncomfortable but so pretty.

    I love shoes.

i don't have many, but i try to get well made ones. I have just thrown out two pair (soles cracked) but i got a good ten year's wear out of them so that's good. I polish the leather, to make old shoes look new again.

black boots (that i got for $5 in opshop in 2001)
slip on leather sneaker type Colorado bought in 2003
    leather slides bought in 2001
that's my current crop (that i live in)
i have kept my shoes for so long, by having a selection e.g four sets of sandals, that i rotate continously in summer. This summer i only have the slides now, so need to buy myself at least one more pair of summer sandals.

sitting in the wardrobe, is a pair of black boots bought on sale (thinking they would replace my current boots, which have STILL not worn out, but have been re-heeled 2 of 3 times). so these "replacement" boots have never been out of the box.
i have a beautiful pair of white 1930's style dressy shoes, i bought them in 2003 when i thought i was getting married. they are so beautiful.

the shoes i buy, need to be wide (c-fitting), foot bed support and no skinny straps. i stopped wearing heels years ago, when a podiatrist gave me a stern talking to (i used to LIVE in stilettos). also, from what he told me, i will never wear thongs again.
