ok...thanks, just checking.
i went this morning and had a cut, base colour and a few foils (maybe about 6?) and bought conditioner to bring home. it cost me $199. i was just wondering if i was getting ripped.
dh would flip out if i told him it was that much. i'm going to tell him it was $120. he was still flip out over that amount.
I normally pay around 130-150 for a cut and half head of foils in Melb
Out of the city (in Vic at least) it can be cheaper though. Used to cost me $80 in Ballarat
And the funniest thing about it, dh just got home and said to me 'it will fade out a bit, won't it?' so, in other words 'it's too dark and I don't like it'. Rofl.
I think it's generally better not to discuss the price!
DH doesn't mind though because he knows I went without for a long time, and I space out the cuts and only get the colour redone (foils) every 3 months. I stopped getting my brows waxed regularly to offset the cost of the colour and now I just get them done periodically for a tidy up and tweeze the rest of the time.
mines a tad below shoulder lengeth I get regrowth and foils, cut, blowdry straighten and eyebrows for $115 the price doesn't chenge even when she does the all over color every 3 visits
Living semi rural it is really cheap. I paid $70 last time. I vowed never to go back to Melbourne as last timeci got charges nearc$200 and it was an apprentice!
Although in saying that I have not had a cut in 13 months. ( I have really curly hair so it barely even looks any longer!) and I have ditched the foil and dye it myself at home.
Where I work there is a barber - father and son. The father does the guys but the son does the ladies. he does cut/colour. Anyway for color , half a head of foils he charges $60 bucks. I think is pretty cheap. For a haircut I think about $20. Whenever I need a fringe cut, just $5 bucks. He also is easy on the 'eye'... haha
