My mum has always said when telling your husband how much something costs you halve it and then minus 10%.

    Enjoy your dress
Well that more or less works out to cost price doesn't it? Delph - you deserve it, this will be a pic that will be in your family for generations - you deserve to look and feel amazing!

You deserve it! A christening is a big deal, and yes you will have photos taken of you, so it's essential IMO that mum gets a new dress!

Hope you have a great day

Yep agree agree agree with the others, you work hard you deserve something special every now and then. A christening is a big deal and so I think its only fair that you look your best for it.

If it makes you feel better I am about to spend $250 roughly on a new baby carrier and I told DH that it will only cost $150

Agree with others 100%. Besides hun, it's not ALWAYS about the babies/kids, sometimes mum HAS to be a little spoiled too!! Mums work very hard and they deserve something nice every now and then. I found that when my DS arrived it all become about him. I remember months and months going by without having bought anything for myself. I mean nothing DF ended up sending me to the shops telling me to buy something, anything! Good on you hun, you really deserve to feel special cos you are
