Marlene - you know how you dress up for work - with lippy, hair and nice clothes (or uniform)... Well I believe we have to approach mothering/home economist/engineer in the same way. If you dress up you get motivated...
Give it a burl tomorrow and I bet you'll feel more motivated...
I've started dressing up around the house too as part of my action plan to make myself feel better.
At the moment i'm big in to dresses with skivvies and leggings underneath, comfortable and stylish.
Dresses i tend to buy designer because they're good quality fabrics and if you buy classic styles they last many seasons. But leggings and skivvies i buy from kmart, best quality for the price (and i've been through all the chain stores comparing).
I do the same Tan. I looove layering. I find many summer dresses can be worked back with pants, leggings, tights or jeans underneath and a skivvy/vest/cardi...
Also scarves when you go out always look great and for me the make me feel good too - as well as being warm!
