I'm sure you'll be fine. I'm going in on Saturday to get my rib piece finished and I'm dreading it!! Only an hours worth of work buy it'll be soooo painful.

    Quick update

I was semi brave and didn't use the lidocaine. Instead I took 2 paracetamol and 2 ibuprofen an hour before the tattoo. It if worked then I'm glad I took them, because it hurt so bad I thought I was going to be sick, or cry, or both I'm such a wuss! Looks gorgeous though, here is a photo (please try and see past the redness and the fact it is covered in bepanthen) http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...49921848_n.jpg

My tattooist says I was right not to use the lidocaine though, because it wears off pretty quick and the pain comes back without the benefit of any endorphins to dull it and is often a lot worse as a result.
