Before Yasin arrived I wouldn't leave the house without eyeliner and lip gloss but now I seldom bother.
In winter I have problems wearing make up cos my face is dry and it settles in the dry spots. No matter what I do to try and get rid of the dry spots, they are still there so I have given up and dont wear it anymore. I wear make up in summer more though.

I NEVER leave the house without make-up on (mind you I only wear foundation, bronzer, lip gloss and mascara).
Only when I go out so I resort to the heavy duty stuff like eyeliner, eye shadow, lipstick etc.
I'm a beauty therapist - but I rarely wear makeup - even when I go to work!
It's the best thing I ever did for my skin too!!
prior to being a BT, I had fairly bad skin. I worked in finance/banking and would do the whole suit & make-up thing every day. One day I just said "enough" and went bare faced. Since then, my skin has improved dramatically.
But now I've cheated a bit...
I have tattoo'd make-up!!!
I had eyeliner done about 16 years ago (in England). It's been terrific. I don't look so washed out.
I had eyebrows enhanced... it looks like brown pencil beneath my hairs - barely noticeable but does make a difference.
I had my lips fully tattoo'd. Originally I had a really thin upper lip, with no definition, they were uneven and there was a small scar where a dog had bitten me as a kid. The lips are now full (normal looking) - even - and have a slight 'lip' colour.
I get my eyebrows & eyelashes tinted - so they are always enhanced without having to touch up.
and if I go out (like to the shops) I'll pop a bit of foundation on.
If I go out somewhere fancy - I'll put the full face on.
To be honest, i would wear make up when i go out if i knew how to apply it properly lol.
As it is, i do wear a little powder & maybe a bit of eyeliner when i go out. But thats pretty hard to stuff up.....unless u have the wrong shade of powder/foundation. I have a cousin who used to wear this ridiculous looking orange foundation, kinda looked like she was wearing a mask. I used to wonder how she couldnt notice it when she was putting it on.
Anyway, wearing make up sorta makes me feel pretty & not so mummy all the time iykwim. I would love to take a class on applying it tho......i have no idea how to put eye shadow or blush or even lippy on........ohhhh & i also love lip gloss. I have about 4 different ones in my bag![]()
Great stuff girls. I thought I was the only mommy in the world not to worry about make-up. In the morning I take ds to day-care and ALL the mommies look like they just steped off a make-over program! Makes me feel so dull and dreary. I never was a fan of the stuff, by ten o'clock it's off, so why bother.
The only make up I own is eye liner. Kameron when he was a baby took all of my make up into the sandpit and I have never bothered in replacing it. I could probably count on one hand inc wedding parties i have been in, how many times I have even worn foundation.
Really can't be bothered with it at all.
Love
I used to all the time, I wouldn't even go & check the letter box with out it.
Now, gosh, I never wear it I hate it.

I think that is my problem too!! There is a beauty shop in town that offers to teach you how to apply make-up, but it's owend by a girl I went to school with and I am self-consious about going there. Anyplace for that matter. I feel odd at going into a beautyshop with al these perfectly "done" girls and asked to be teached, at 26, how to put foundation on!!! Yeah, my pride is doing me in, I know!
O just thought about this, have you ever tried doing it from a magazine!?!?!?! They make it sound so simple and easy, but standing infront of the mirror I get confussed like hell and just give up.
I love wearing makeup..i used to be really bad and would never leave the house without at least mascara on, but these days i just wear makeup out on the days i can be bothered and going out on special occasions, but when im at home i dont bother and it gives my skin a break.
I brought heaps after i had Kimberley i thought wearing would help with my PND. I only now wear it if i go out at night and that is not oftern.
Girls, I was taught when I did body shop at home, I'll happily do an on-line lesson if you want it! However, I'm still fairly poor at applying the stuff to me. I know the theory, but how on earth do you put on eyeliner without leaving a gap first time?
But even with all that make-up, I still only wear mascara and lipstick for going out with, I will wear eyeliner if it's somewhere special, like a wedding. Eyeshadow if DS is in a good mood!
I will be honest and say that if you have good hair and lipstick everyone thinks you have spent hours getting a natural look. Not at all - it is natural! Just spend five minutes on your hair in the morning.
I usually put on some blush, mascara and lipstick before i leave the house each morning. Takes me less than a minute and makes me feel good about myself.
I don't wear makeup every day... most days i don't unless maybe tinted moisturiser thats nice to wear and looks like foundation!gives me a nice glow...
and if we go out on the weekend, dinner or family do or something then i'll put some makeup on but usually just mascara, eyeshadow, tint moisturiser and lip gloss but not lots like some women wear... cant stand heavy makeup
I just bought a "bronzer" so cant wait to try it out!!! :P
Never at home. Always when i go out shopping etc. however I usually only wear foundation and a bit of lip balm. I rarely add colour unless it's for a special occassion. My eyelashes and eyebrows are black so mascara hardly makes any difference anyhow and my lips are already fairly red.... so it's just a light application of foundation to even things out. I do know how to apply makeup well though... kinda wish i had more reasons to get all 'dolled up'.
