Oooh I didn't know Oroton was Australian, thanks for thatRegarding their handbags: the attention to detail isn't there and they don't seem as user friendly ie their smaller clutch bags are difficult to access and the leather way too stiff and thick for something small. DH bought me a small black leather clutch bag and it was useless, the plastic zip was set in a way that made it difficult to access the interior so the first time i used it the wretched zip split and broke!
And I am VERY gentle with things. So I marched back to the store where he bought it and requested an exchange, and a different style. I checked out so many bags but none seemed "right"... so in the end I chose a larger bucket shaped bag. I didn't have to pay extra because it was a sale (post Christmas)... the bag retailed for $470 prior to the sale but I received %40 discount... from memory I think they refunded me $10! So that worked out well but I'm not especially happy with the bag... it's lined with this crappy beige fake suede that marks soooo easily
And even though I've only used it about half a dozen times the base of the bag has rubbed the leather off the corners
which is a sign of poor quality leather... good quality leather ought to last a lifetime. However if I saw a vintage Ororton bag I suspect I would be a lot happier with it. I've yet to find a brand of handbag that i am happy with.... can't afford genuine Louis Vuitton unfortunately... i suspect I'd be happy with one of those LOL
