I have a couple of tankinis (singlet & shorts style) and they cover my tum really well, the top never comes up. I don't know where you are in Melbourne, but Brand Smart in Nunawading have a great swimwear shop.

omg ren, you absolutely have to check out a 'miracle suit'. i got mine from zodee and it looks exactly like the suit katie holmes was wearing (i think i know the exact picture of her you're thinking of, from after Packer's wedding?). i've been wearing it since about 2 months after ds was born and it holds your tummy in really well but still looks stylish.

Yep- Katie swimming after the Packer wedding! She looked amazing!

Holy schmoly those miraclesuits cost a bomb though! I found a nice wondersuit on zodee- heaps cheaper so possibly not as good?

Do you think it's okay to wear underwire while BFing seeing as I'll only be wearing it for short periods?

Thanks for the Nunawading tip- might have to go there!

There is a fantastic online swimwear store called Viva (google it - it's easy to find). I bought a set of their swimwear about 6 years ago and it's still in great condition. It's a 3 piece - bikini bottoms (you can get a variety of styles to cover more or less tummy), an underwire bikini top (and they have them in larger cup sizes, which was important for me) and a tankini top that goes over the top for extra tummy coverage. They're super comfy, cover everything, stylish. I love them and will be buying my next pair of togs from them too.

Cherie thanks so much for that advice re: Viva.
I had a look and it looks much better and much cheaper than anything I've found on Blest. So fab.
    Thankyou!

Ren: I couldn't see any of the Rochford wondersuits but the others look great so I bet you certainly will look glam!!

They are in the one piece swimwear section.

I agree the viva site looked really good too!

Until pregnant, i just wore a 1 piece and some board shorts. Most other mums did the same in DS's swimming group. I then bought a pregnancy top to wear with the board shorts and found you have to make sure you tuck it into your shorts otherwise it floats up!! Much rather the one piece and shorts options though.
