Yeh your so right, curly hair or rather perms were the rage here in Australia in the Summer of 1980 ... i remember it well as i had my 1st hairdresser haircut whom layed my golden blonde wavy hair which turned into amazing curls ... when i got home Mum flipped as she thought i got a perm, LOL... I was the ' in ' girl when i started school that Summer as everyone though i had a fashionable perm
