New Maybelline 16 hour foundation...anyone tried it?

I saw this advertised and am always on the lookout for something that really works well and doesn't cost the earth.

    Has anyone tried it yet?

I haven't seen this one yet.... I usually use higher end foundations but love Maybelline's mascaras. Somewhere like Priceline usually have testers perhaps you could try some first? Also what is the 16 hour thing? do they mean long lasting?

I'll be interested to know what it's like too.

I'm fairly happy with some of their foundations that I've used - they've proved better than the more exclusive brands I've found. It's supposed to be long wearing, I might just bite the bullet and buy some!

I'll be interested to hear how it goes. My Clinique foundation is almost used up and I can't really afford the $60 odd dollars for a new bottle... only problem is I just love it

The thing i find with long lasting foundations is they tend to block my pores a bit so i usually go for the lighter coverage but apply more (sounds silly i know but it works!).

OK, I bought a bottle...the colour description was the same as my other Maybelline foundation - I looked like a damn pumpkin. My face was orange, whereas the other was a nice neutral nude colour. I don't like it.

Ahhhh.... yes I find that the more expensive foundations are more realistic/natural in tone. I can't stand orange foundation tones... I even adjust my avatar's skin colour to avoid that foul facial colour LOL

oh dear, the colours should be consistent accross their range, i would be going back to point out the colour difference.

And yes the high end foundations do have more realistic colours i've found. I use Laura Mercier oil free and the colour ranges are very good. ($90 though!)

I emailed Maybelline NY (as they don't have an Australian site) and they suggested I contact L'Oreal who distributes the foundation. Man...it was waaaaay orange.
