Arimeh's thread got me thinking about this. How many of us let our age affect how we colour our hair? When I was at school I used to dye my hair black, or burgundy/bright red and it always seemed to suit me, but a few months back I dyed my hair what I thought would be a nice dark brown colour, but it actually was a hell of a lot closer to black and it looked terrible! It was just far too dark for me and I didn't think it looked any good, not like it used to when I was younger. My hair is naturally a dark chocolatey brown and lately I just stick to colouring it the same colour as my hair just to hide the greys. I haven't had foils in years because they don't seem to suit me anymore either.

) & had bright pink/red/purple hair or streaks. then i went ultra conservative in my mid-late 20's & just did subtle variations of my natural (boring) mid-brown hair. then i went blonde, then back to normal-ish colours. last time i got my hair coloured i felt the urge for something different so i got a chocolate brown with bright reddy-purple foils. i loved it & plan to get it done again.
