I have it all off here and try to go every 5 weeks but these days with 2 dd's i find i may only go 3 monthly. Down there i go- all off i also wax my legs, eyebrows and underarms. TBH it is uncomfortable whilst they are doing it but its tolerable iykwim and i'm a wuss. I usually find i am a little sensitive for the first few hours but then fine. I have been going for 7yrs now religiously. I much prefer the hot wax over the stip wax as i find with the strip i always seem to get burnt and peel like i've been sunburnt and its not pleasent. Maybe i'm just extra sensitive but i never have any probs with hot wax. I also epilady my legs if i havent had them waxed for a while and IMO it hurts more than waxing.

    Totally agree!!

I'd ask when you ring to make an appointment and make sure they use hot wax

Hmmm... when i had down there waxed (I had a brazillian) it absolutely killed LOL. I wasn't crying as such but my eyes were tearing up. And I wouldn't say that I am that hairy LOL.

A friend of mine gets it done quite regularly and said it gets less painful with time. I think you either deaden the nerves or they get use to it. But once was enough for me and I stick to shaving. I hate pain though, hehe.

    Good Luck

I honestly found that waxing behind my knees hurt more than the full brazilian. I shave now, though, but that's just because it's easier to find the time.

I get a Brazillian, and leave a landing strip also. I didn't find it hurt that much - my bum crack (sorry TMI..) was probably the most painful place, but it is over pretty quick.

I can recommend a great waxing place on Fitzroy St, they were the ones who bought the brazillian to Australia, and i found they did a great job. I think that a good waxer makes it less painful - and of the 3 different places i've tried, these were the best.

I wax the lot and sometimes leave a triangle.

The first wax hurts the most - especially if you have shaved in the past as the hairs are coarse.

Each wax after the first gets less and less painful. It is completely worth getting done IMO as it takes weeks for the hair to even start growing pack (as opposed to a few days with shaving).

The most painful part is usually the top/middle (which is why I leave a triangle now!). Bum crack is never pleasant either! I find if you just try to breath through it and relax it hurts less. If you tense up when you know its coming it will hurt like h3ll!!!!

I agree with Yael, the waxer is very important... I get a brazilian done with landing strips and eyebrows every 6-9 weeks ( pending on schedule) and I won't lie to you it hurts..and I am not good with pain but in the end it lasts 15 minutes, so I find that if you breathe, try to stay relax and keep a casual conversation ( which is fabulous with everything just out there) it's over before you know it! By the time the eyebrows come, Im usually thrilled as I know it doesn't hurt as much. and yes the lips and bumcrack is also what hurt the most... what I would NEVER do again, underarms..OMG!

I have to say that my brows hurt more than the brazillian.I get my brows done every 2-3 weeks and brazillian should be every 6 but don't get much time these days with ds(he comes with me) lol. I'm going this week so I'll have to have a bit of a trim beforehand I think
