I looked up a few of those, bidz looks like it has some really pretty stuff but there is loads of scam stuff on google about them being investigated... I am a little nervous now! I guess you could alway buy one thing and get it valued by a jeweler?

friend of mine is always buying things from these two US sites as the $A was so good. she has some amazing big rings. they are very reliable, delivery is superquick and they have lots of special offers.

Etsy! I have recently been pouring over pages and pages there just drooling at how clever and artistic people are. I just made my first etsy purchase last week, from a lady in Canada. It is a cupcake necklace for DD. It is special because we spent countless hours baking cupcakes when she was little. It is silver, with white 'icing' and swarovski crystals.. can't wait for it to arrive.
Might have to check the MadeIt site out later
