Thanks Jemima!
MooGoo - cute name, huh? Just google it and you will find the website, it's Australian. My scalp feels so much calmer, my hair is lovely and soft. Took 3 or 4 washes but then my hair started coming up beautifully. And I've been using the MooGoo Milk Wash on DS and he smells gorgeous, like a strawberries 'n' cream lolly!
Or...it may be the hormones that have fixed my hair. I did have awesome hair when I was pregnant last time so maybe I've just bought myself 9 months grace haha!
Just wondering if anyone had tried the moogoo on babies with cradle cap? I am interested in purchasing this product but wanted some feedback first. The website has lots of great feedback but they won't put any bad feedback on there will they!!!
Well I used the MooGoo Infant Scalp Cream on DS when he was tiny and it did help but not completely...but I actually think that what he had was a combination of cradle cap and eczema on his scalp (he had eczema by the time he was 6 weeks old).
Once I found something that worked on his eczema the rest of his scalp cleared up...and it wasn't MooGoo! MooGoo didn't make the eczema worse, his skin did improve slightly, but it didn't help clear it up like a lot of the testimonials said.
DS is now 2yo and his eczema has calmed down a lot. His skin is still sensitive but I have found that as long as I use products on him that are suitable for sensitive skin his eczema stays away. MooGoo is fine now that his skin isn't so reactive. As soon as I use regular/supermarket type products on him it comes back immediately, and I still have to be careful with what laundry detergent I use etc etc.
I'd certainly give the cream a go, it smells really nice, and it should work if you haven't got other skin issues to contend with as well.
Thanks Curly for the feedback! I have purchased some this arvo so i will give it a try and see! I'm hoping he doesn't have eczema cos that will make the issue a bit harder to handle!!! He doesn't have any skin complaints other than his scalp and his forehead but I think the forhead is a result of the cradle cap!!
yeah what's with the itchy scalp, i still have an itchy head since giving birth and my DD is 9 months old!!!
