    I have grosby ones and they have been great!!!! I before these had some from a shoe party that were made to order and they were the most comfo ones I had ever had.

    OK. Now I've stopped sniggering at the title....
    Have you tried and of the comfy feet inserts? Or, if your alignment isn't spot on, orthotics?
    I assume you can't ear athletic shoes but maybe you could look at some of the athletic shoes dressed as works shoes they sell at the athletes foot.

    Also Birkenstocks are very comfy and some of them have a closed toe that meets WHS requirements.
    Maybe you could track down a barefoot shoe that is a little formal looking but they say you need to ease into them so they mightn't be great for long shifts.

    Best, most comfy shoe I have ever worn for work were Easy step. Now that I don't work I use them to mow the lawn as they are so comfy.
