I agree with Dach - i am more motivated to do stuff if i am dressed, hair done etc. I used to be more lazy, always trackies, but, now i have lost weight, I wear jeans and a tshirt, or simple jumper around home, and something better out to the shops. I try to be more neat casual.

I wear pj's on lazy days or trackies/jeans on more motivated days

I agree that getting dressed and making myself look "presentable" always makes me feel better and more motivated! Hmmm.. unlike today where I am in my trackies, ugg boots and a singlet with no makeup and my hair messily pulled back!! I'm lookin' hot I tell ya

Well Annabelle and I do something everyday except for Mondays and Tuesdays (so not everyday! )
Monday is usually our pj day. Otherwise I wear trackies and clothes I wouldn't be seen dead in public in I also dont wear make up at home, gives my face a break

I pretty much stay in my jammies (or trackies and a top) unless I am going somewhere then I will put on jeans and a nicer top. At the moment I am wearing Jeans, a nice pink ballet style BFing top, slippers and my dressing gown over the top, LOL.
I told DH I was going down the shops this morning and he looked at me in my dressing gown "are you going like that?", I whipped the gown off and was fully dressed underneath, LOL. He called me wonderwoman. You better believe it!!

I'm the same. Sometimes it's just easier to stay in PJ's
Although right now I'm wearing jeans and a top cause we went out earlier.

I always wear smart clothes even if I am just slouching around the house - so usually it`s a tight black short vest top, black short skirt and black heels. It`s just not me wearing sloppy clothes

When the boys have their morning bottles, I put on make up and do my hair but often dont manage to get dressed till after the 10am sleep. Then I wear jeans (pants if we are going to the big city etc) and a shirt or nice top and nice shoes. If its a home day and summer, then track pants and a top. After 7pm Im in my PJs as Velcro baby goes to bed about 7 and wakes alot til I come to bed- hate being caught in my PJs and bright orange bathrobe (it was the only 1 they had that fitted me )
I too feel much better if I have made an effort to look nice and here, everybody is always looking at us so I dont feel its good representation for europeans to look grotty when out

I'm incredibly lazy, I just wake up, stay in my pj's all day (usually a Supre singlet and a scummy old pair of basketball shorts from my high school days) and stay in them all day until I have a shower before bed (when I put on a fresh Supre singlet and another pair of ratty old shorts).
If I'm going out during the day, I tend to end up overdressed because I have 'house clothes' which I'd never wear out in public, and 'nice clothes' which are more suited to dressier occasions.
Not that I mind too much, most people in this town think I'm an absolute freak for wearing 5.5" heels while doing the grocery shopping.. but it's good for the pelvic muscles!!

I'm struggling at the moment because I'm so much bigger with this baby than I was with my first, I literally didn't need to buy any new clothes with my first because I stayed the same size except for a big round belly, all I had to do was pop a long, stretchy singlet underneath my regular t-shirts and I was right... this time around I'm really desperate for some good, flattering clothes because I have lumps and bumps in all the wrong places, but the maternity wear in this town is either hideous and/or overpriced ($150 for a dress, pfft 'sif) and my usual clothing places (Supre etc) are going through another really hideous phase where there is absolutely NOTHING i would consider wearing, not even if you paid me.
    Ugh.

Stay in pjs until i get a chance to shower (usually late morning when ds has nap), then i put on "house clothes". I wear this until we are going out - at which point i change in to something better which would be jeans, pants, dress, skirt - whatever. I'll wear that while out, then when i get home, i put my house clothes back on! Basically because i don't want any of my clothes i'd wear out to get stained/soiled from cleaning, feeding etc so i put the stuff i dont care about back on.

I don't wear make up around the house, i only wear it if i'm going out somewhere nice - either to catch up with friends or out for lunch. But if i've put it on and i'm back at home i don't take it off.
That's what I do too. I only put makeup on when I'm going out to lunch or dinner aswell. Occasionally I'll put it on cause I just want to. Lol.
My house clothes are just my comfy daggy clothes.

Gee, i dont feel so bad anymore! dd and i can stay in our pj's all day! i usually try to shower us before dp gets home (sometimes i feel bad if he gets home and we look to have been 'lounging' all day) some days we shower earlier, but if im not leaving the house (which is most days) ill wear trackies and a top, if we're going out i shower and put jeans on.

when i first started getting to know MIL, i though it was funny that she had 'home' clothes.. she only worked 2 days a week, on her says off, she neevr looked sloppy, but had her home clothes on, but would NEVER EVER leave the house in these clothes.
dp rang her once while he was working, to ask if she could run down and deposit money into his acct, as he'd left his wallet at home, and had no petrol (she lives 5 mins from the bank) she told him he'll have to wait till she showers and gets ready.. he waited and hour and 15 mins!

i would run down to the main street here(supermarkets, banks, chemist, post office) in my daggy clothes, or if i was in pj's, id chuck anything on, but if i were going to the shopping centre, id make the effort and shower and dress properly!
