Miessence here, smells great, works well, is Australian, organic products (not ingredients but the whole product) and doesn't put dodgy chemicals in my skin.
What are you feeding your family's skin?

Forever grateful to my incredible Mod Team
I use Estee Lauder everything... skincare & makeup.
Have done for years... one of my girlfriends that I lived with from age 18 was an Estee Lauder rep, and always had a ridiculous amount of it in the house
I started using it when I was 18 - when I moved in with ExDH 4 yrs later & had to start buying my ownI decided to try other brands (mainly because of the $$$).
Infortunately, you get what you pay for, and I was too spoilt for those 4 yrs I lived with her, so I went back to the Estee Lauder, and have used it ever since.
It is expensive (approx $50 for cleanser / $45 for toner / $70+ for moisturiser) but it lasts for AGES.
The cleanser I've had since April & only about halfway through now, the toner I replaced yesterday after buying about 8 months ago, and the moisturiser I have half left & I bought it in August (I use the moisturiser more times a day than the others though).
I guess its a massive initial outlay, but they seem to run out at different times, so if you're buying them seperately its easier to do IYKWIM![]()
Well I am a strong advocate for limiting the use of chemicals - both for the damage and toxicity it adds to your skin and for the footprints it leaves on Mother Earth...
I use Jurlique - love it love it. The cleanser lasts me (twice a day useage) about 4-5 months at $45 a bottle. The moisturiser lasts for about 6 months at about $85 a tube. I also love L'Occitane - their products are just slightly more expensive but beautiful also. I buy some when I go to the city (which is rarely) so usually I only have my Jurlique.
I am using a body wash & lotion named "I love my Body" and shampoo named "I love my Hair" and they are made by Toni Childs. They are just beautiful. Again toxic free. I think it's important to choose consciously what you use. I think it's helpful to ask "what toxins does this contain". We need as a society to decide that we will be kinder to ourselves and the environment...
clinique love it as others said its expensive to start with but worth it.
Another one here for outting chemicals in our home and care products. We use neways right through our house but have also heard good things about missense
I regularly use:
MiEssence products
MooGoo (great soap, shampoo and anti-cradle cap products, VERY safe and kind to skin)
Jurlique
L'Occitane
I used to use Clinique but as well as the cost I became suspicious of their environmental impact and chemical ****tails... although I still use their foundations because they have the best SPF factor and "fit" for my skin. Clinique exfoliator ingredients include plastic granules and alcohol... way too harsh on skin.

I used Clinique once years ago - maybe 12 years ago... I became all red and inflamed. The chemicals in Clinique - my g/f calls it Chemique...!![]()
