For moisturiser couldn't fault Miessece, for body soap etc I'm happy with Natural Instinct. I use their facial cleanser as well.

I buy the big litre bottle of Natural Instinct for the kids bathroom - it's really nice. (But I am hung up on "Love My Hair" for me)

I also use Natural Instinct hand wash in the soap dispensers around the house.

I buy my soap from The Natural Foodstore - I love Sandalwood so I get a really yummy one from there for the whole family.

Do Natural Instinct make a soap bar Christy or is it the body wash that you use?

Body wash for us & the pump hand soap for that. We use soap nuts for baths & clothes washing...

I use MOPS (modern organic products) for hair my favourite.

Oh you girls! I'm going to have to place some online orders now! LOL Let's see... I definitely need to try some MiEssence moisturiser... the last one I bought is nearly used up (Jurlique's Calendula Cream, also bought based on BB recommendations... it's good, not too heavy, not greasy, absorbs quickly and works well with my foundation... I might go back to it again someday). And I need some more MooGoo shampoo. The thing I like about those brands is that their websites and delivery is FANTASTIC... both companies ship very quickly! With 3 kids I rarely have the luxury of browsing the comestics counter anymore... though one good thing about being my age I've tried sooooo many products now that I have largely sorted the cream from the crap! And I don't subscribe to advertising anymore! Interesting how the best brands don't seem to need much advertising.

Me too! But after reading the bottle I was a little disappointed that it's not really very organic, has some of the same stuff as other shampoos (SLS, etc) just not as much. But it is very light and yummy!

Tobyturtle, why the dermalogica bias? Am thinking of getting their scrub but not sure if it's worth the $$...

To the ladies who use A'kin and Alchemy, what are your favourite products? Do they have a good, light moisturiser?

Sukin face wash and johoba oil as moisturiser. My skin is looking the best it has for a while. I like sukin stuff, I have their body wash as well.
NS-7 moisturising complex for bod, when I can be bothered. Its really nice though, abit similar to palmers, but not cocoa smelling and is natural. They make a great really effective lip balm too.
Giovanni shampoo and conditioner. Have tried heaps of natural ones and I like these, they make your hair nice and shiny and smooth.
I was surprised to find that about Mops too (not natural, just has organic ingredients added).
Want to find a nice eye cream for preventative measures, but all the ones I have used just make me look wrinkly where I couldn't see wrinkles before (Is that because they puff out your skin? Does that mean the wrinkles are there?) Anyway so I stop using them. Any reccs?

I've used a lovely eye balm from L'Occitane - it was soothing and really nice to use.

Cetaphil cleanser & Nivea oil free moisturiser.

I'd love to give dermalogica a go as well as I have heard great things. Have tried & tested both clinique & pro active & they were not at all good for my skin!

ProActiv: I was given this for Christmas... hmmmm... jury is still out but I suspect it's only making my skin look good while I am using it... and when I stop it goes back to worse than before... just a theory... I'll use the stuff up and then go back to my other exfoliator (MiEssence garnet scrub) which i think was having a better overall effect and seems (list of ingredients) MUCH better for my skin.

I love Dermalogica too, especially the Active Moist and SPF booster.

For cleansing, I use QV in the morning, then I use Moogoo's Oil Cleansing Method at night. It removes every trace of make up and leaves my skin really soft. Then I moisturise at night with Kosmea Rose Hip Oil, massaged into damp skin. I have oily skin too.

CHeck with the manufacturer but if it is a "natural" product - often the SLS is coconut derived or naturally derived which is better than the man-made ones
